Eleanor Tomlinson: Reigning Queen of Remakes! From On-Screen Adaptations to The Forsyte Saga

She has made her name in on-screen adaptations of novels Poldark and One Day.

And Eleanor Tomlinson is quickly becoming queen of the remakes, as she was snapped filming a new version of The Forsyte Saga.

It’s the first time Ms Tomlinson has been seen in her role as the Soho dressmaker Louisa Byrne in the six-part series based on John Galsworthy novels.

The drama, which follows a family from the 1870s into the early 1900s, is adapted by Poldark writer Debbie Horsfield.

Spotted on set in Bristol, Ms Tomlinson wore a Victorian-style cream dress with blue embroidery. Her auburn curls were tied loosely in a huge silk bow.

The actress was also seen joking with co-star Danny Griffin between takes. She plays the first love of Griffin’s character, Young Jolyon.
