Samantha Armytage Joins Natalie Barr and Melissa Doyle for a Sunrise Reunion at Carla Zampatti Show during Australian Fashion Week

Samantha Armytage reunited with Sunrise star Natalie Barr and former host Melissa Doyle at the Carla Zampatti show during Australian Fashion Week on Monday.

Armytage, who was co-host alongside David ‘Kochie’ Koch in 2013 before leaving in 2021, looked stylish in black pants and a white printed shirt.

The 47-year-old accessorised her ensemble with black stilettos and a matching bag.

She was joined by Barr, who remains on the morning program with Matt Shirvington after he took over Koch’s duties in 2023.

The Sunrise host, 56, looked chic in a navy purple suit and matching coloured sheer turtleneck.

She completed her look with a pair of black heels and carried a large black bag.

Barr was all smiles as she posed alongside The Morning Show host Kylie Gillies at the event, who looked stylish in a mini black dress with a large white flower.

Meanwhile, Melissa Doyle, who co-hosted the breakfast show from 2002 to 2013, looked elegant in a long black off the shoulder gown.

She held a black clutch and wore a pair of matching coloured heels.

Doyle left her long blonde locks out and wore a natural palette of makeup to the event.

The event comes after Armytage recently made a surprise return to Sunrise to discuss the new season of Farmer Wants A Wife after departing the breakfast show three years ago.

Following her guest appearance, rumours ran rife her replacement Barr ‘wasn’t comfortable’ with Armytage returning to the program, following years of rumours the pair didn’t see eye to eye.

‘When Nat found out the week before that she would be coming on, she just copped it on the chin and as Nat does with everything, she decided to be professional,’ a TV insider told Woman’s Day.

‘That said, you could sense from her body language that she was feeling a little bit tense,’ the source added.

‘Thankfully, Nat and Shirvo [co-host Matt Shirvingtonare so tight and Shirvo probably picked up that Nat wasn’t 100 per cent comfortable about being on the same set as Sam and he was there to support her.’

Seven has since denied the allegations, saying the pair got along just fine and even had a ‘lengthy catch-up’ following Armytage’s interview about the reality show.

‘A Seven spokesperson refutes any claims of tension between the pair,’ the rep said.

‘Natalie and Sam had a lengthy catch-up as soon as Nat came off air. They were also offering each other support and kind words in the wake of their colleague Nathan Templeton’s passing.’

However, viewers claimed they detected tensions between the former colleagues during the rare appearance.

‘She looks SO happy to be there…’ one user sarcastically wrote of Armytage’s demeanour on Australian TV forum Media Spy at the time.
