Ellie Watson has placed Australia’s most popular home on sale.
The health influencer and her husband Alex Watson are letting their Gold Coast, Queensland mansion go at auction for a hefty payday.
According to a property expert contacted by Daily Mail, the architect-designed home could fetch as much as $5.7million.
Known as Valle Casa, the home went viral this year and is Australia’s most ‘Instagram famous’ house.
It is also Australia’s most popular auction property, with PropTrack data revealing that the home recorded the highest number of views of any property in the past seven days, according to realestate.com.au.
‘We were drawn to the property as it’s still close to the beach and town yet is next to beautiful rainforest and a creek on flat usable land,’ Watson told the property website.

‘We really wanted to create a minimal aesthetic in a single-level home that feels different to a lot of houses on the Gold Coast.’
Located in bushland in the Currumbin Valley, only minutes from the beaches of Surfers Paradise, the multi-million dollar resort-style home boasts five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Ellie went on to create an online series about the construction of the sprawling home after buying the land in 2021, which won her thousands of fans.
The first episode of Ellie’s YouTube series ‘Building Our Dream Family Home’ has attracted 36,000 viewers since it dropped two years ago.
Ellie, a nutritionist and dietitian with 652,000 Instagram followers, went on to post hundreds of images and videos depicting every step in the creation of the property, which the couple dubbed Valle Casa.
She told The Gold Coast Bulletin that fans are ‘shocked’ that the couple are set to offload what they once called their ‘forever home’.
However, she teased followers that they can look forward to a new ‘building journey’ from the couple.
‘We built it with the intention of it being our dream home, but I loved the creative process, so we’re keen to do it again,’ Ellie said.

No price guide has been listed ahead of the auction, which is set for next month, but the Watsons could be looking at a big real estate win.
A similar property in nearby Tallai recently sold for $7.75million.

Design highlights include bone limewash walls, and a dramatic skylight that sits over the main dining room.

The Watsons tied the knot in October 2018 at a wedding held at Orchard Estate in Byron Bay.
The pair met through friends and Alex proposed during a trip to Joshua Tree National Park in California.
They previously lived in Canggu, Bali, but have been based on the Gold Coast since 2021.
Ellie is a nutritionist and dietitian and shares her plant-based recipes online via the website Elsa’s Wholesome Life.
Alongside husband Alex, she owns wellness brand The Wholesome Store and has authored two bestselling plant based cookbooks.
In 2022, the couple welcomed baby girl Zimi.
Ellie and Alex also have an older child, son Bowie, who is five.
