Channel Nine Reveals Golden Bachelor Future Ahead of Finale

The Golden Bachelor is casting for its second season.

The popular Australian reality series – which hit screens for the first time in October this year – has seemingly been renewed for a second instalment by Nine after calls for next year’s cast were posted online. 

‘Are you in your 50s or 60s and looking for love in your golden years? Or do you know someone who deserves another shot at their happily ever after?’ the post began. 

‘We are looking for Australia’s next Golden Bachelor and many incredible women who are excited to find love again. 

‘Join us today for an adventure of a lifetime!’

The advertisement noted that casting is open to Australian residents only and will see a leading man take centre stage in the second season, despite calls for a Golden Bachelorette.

Shocked viewers have been hoping that Jan will appear in her own spin-off series called The Golden Bachelorette, in which a group of refined bachelors would vie for her heart.
