Gerard Butler was almost unrecognisable as he arrived in Australia this week ahead of his latest film project.
The 55-year-old Scottish actor cut a rugged figure as he made his way through Sydney Airport dressed in a casual red flannel shirt layered over a blue tee, teamed with loose black track pants and white sneakers.
Adding to his laid-back look, the 300 star accessorised with a maroon baseball cap, large over-ear headphones and a khaki duffel bag slung over his shoulder while wheeling a small carry-on suitcase through the terminal.
Gerard continued to fuel marriage rumours as he was spotted wearing an Oura ring on his wedding finger amid reports he has secretly walked down the aisle with his long-time partner Morgan Brown.Â
Gerard, 55, and Morgan, 48, a real estate investor and interior designer, have been linked since 2014 but have been on-off since then.Â
Butler, who is best known for his chiselled physique and intense on-screen presence, appeared worlds away from his Spartan warrior days as he kept a low profile during his arrival.

The Hollywood A-lister is in Australia to begin filming Empire City, a high-octane kidnap thriller set to be shot in Melbourne later this month.
Producers reportedly scouted locations around the world before settling on Victoria’s capital as the perfect backdrop for the gritty action film, which promises to deliver suspense, high-speed chases and Butler’s trademark intensity.
The actor is expected to remain Down Under for several weeks while production gets underway.

Gerard and Morgan started dating in 2014 but have split several times since then.
They called it quits in 2016, only to get back together the following summer.
They also split up in August 2020, with a source telling Us Weekly at the time that the duo were ‘handling the breakup with maturity’.

They had broken up because Gerard ‘couldn’t fully settle down with Morgan and commit’, the source said, adding their inner circle felt they were ‘better off as friends’ post-split.
Gerard opened up about the heartbreak a few months later in an interview with news.com.au: ‘I went through a break-up during corona so I lost a loved one in a different way, and that’s been very hard, much harder than I thought.’
However, the pair were later seen packing the PDA in April 2021.
Gerard has been open and honest in sharing his desire to start a family, which includes being in a serious ‘relationship’ with ‘one or two kids’.Â
‘In five years I want to be in a relationship. I’d love to have one or two kids – it’s about time,’ he told People in 2017.
He also bemoaned the fact that his hectic work schedule meant that he effectively had ‘no personal life’.
Last year Gerard sparked romance rumous with Sports Illustrated star Penny Lane after the couple were seen enjoying a stroll through Primrose Hill in pictures obtained by The Sun.
But in June, Gerard and Morgan were spotted hitting the How To Train Your Dragon red carpet as a duo in LA.
