The daughter of Golden Bachelor finalist Sunny Long has come out swinging against racist trolls targeting her mother online.
Chloe, an influencer and podcaster, took to TikTok following Monday’s episode to expose the deluge of vile comments her mother has received since stepping into the public eye.Â
‘Living in Australia with an Asian mum, I have seen mum experience so much racism. And so obviously, you know, her being on the show, I was terrified for that from the possible contestants and the Australian public,’ Chloe began, her voice shaking with frustration,Â
‘And it’s just worse than I could have imagined,’ she said gravely.Â
Chloe also blasted Channel Nine, accusing the network of failing to moderate the hateful comments on its social media pages.Â
‘I thought there would be some moderation from Channel 9. Like, it’s actually a joke. Top comments with … with 100 likes and they just leave it there,’ she alleged.Â

Chloe continued: ‘It is not OK. And obviously, you know, white boomers, unfortunately, you’re going to expect a lot of racism amongst that group. So maybe I should have known.’Â
‘But it is horrible, just so, so horrible. Like, I actually, I’m shaking with anger. I just, I hate it,’ she concluded.
Chloe and her sister Penny made a brief appearance during hometown visits on Monday’s episode when Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden visited her mother in Sydney.Â
During the awkward interaction, Sunny introduced Bear as her ‘boyfriend’, to which he responded that she might be ‘jumping the gun’.
Unimpressed, the sisters pulled Bear aside for a chat, drilling him on whether he feels ‘intimidated’ by strong, outspoken women.Â
Chloe then asks Bear whether he is a feminist, to which he replies: ‘No’.
‘This is an absolute dealbreaker. No matter what he says, I’m not a fan of him anymore,’ Chloe said.
It becomes apparent that Bear actually didn’t understand the question, and after being enlightened on the meaning of feminism, he changed his answer and won them over.
Chloe then took aim at Channel Nine, accusing the network of failing to clean up the nasty messages on their social media pages
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel Nine for comment.Â
Bear picked his final two ladies on Monday’s episode of The Golden Bachelor.
Kim, 60, was sensationally dumped during the penultimate Rose Ceremony, with only Sunny and Janette left in the running to win Bear’s heart.
The Queensland doctor was openly heartbroken to leave the show so close to the end, after admitting she was falling for the Golden Bachelor.
‘I just feel really sad. I’m ready to fall in love. I am really ready to start my life, and he doesn’t want to do that,’ a tearful Janette admitted.
‘I’ll go away and lick my wounds for a while, but I will be happy. And hopefully I’ll find what I’m looking for. This was a good try,’ she added.
