Princess Andre Dazzles in Black Gown at ITV Palooza with Brother Junior, While Dad Peter Skips Gala

Princess Andre wore a black off the shoulder gown as she joined her brother Junior at the ITV Palooza in London on Tuesday.

The model, 18, who has had a second series of her reality show The Princess Diaries commissioned, walked the red carpet without her dad Peter. 

Peter and his wife Emily did not attend the event after they decided to pull out of Princess’ ITV show following backlash from her mother, Katie Price. 

Arriving with her older brother Junior, 20, Princess looked glamorous in the gown, which she accessorised with a sparkly silver bag and a poppy in honour of Remembrance Day. 

Meanwhile, Junior looked smart in a patterned blazer, which he paired with matching trousers and a black shirt. 

The ITV Palooza, which sees talent from the network come together to unveil its upcoming slate of shows for advertisers, returned after a hiatus in 2024. 

Stars from across drama, daytime, reality, sport, news and entertainment arrived for the showcase. 

Insiders told the Daily Mail that Princess made the decision to remove her father from her TV show in order to quieten the ‘noise’ surrounding his ex-wife Katie’s absence from the show.

After family discussions with Peter and his wife Emily, they agreed to step back and will not appear in the next series. 

Her brother Junior, however, will remain by her side, with cameras expected to follow the young star abroad as she explores new business ventures, as well as at home, where she has a ‘big beauty gig’ lined up in Liverpool.

Last August, Katie, 47, hit out at being deliberately excluded from The Princess Diaries, claiming that Peter and his management team considered her ‘trash.’

Katie expressed her frustrations at being ‘disrespected’ and ‘disregarded’, saying she longed to be by her daughter’s side as she follows in the footsteps of her famous reality TV parents and bids to take over their crown. 

Now, with Peter and Emily stepping away from the project in front of the cameras, the Mysterious Girl singer is reportedly hoping that the second and third series will be ‘all about Princess.’

A source revealed: ‘Pete and Emily will not feature in The Princess Diaries seasons two and three. It was discussed between him and Princess, and they decided as a family that it’s better for the show to focus on Princess alone, rather than her family life.’ 

They continued: ‘Katie was obviously very hurt over not being asked to film alongside Princess for season one, and she caused a lot of drama and upset behind the scenes.

‘No one wants Princess to feel caught between her two parents, so Pete has taken a massive step back, which he hopes will resolve many of the issues. 

‘Everyone just wants the best for Princess, and the show is her series after all, now she’s 18, she can stand on her own two feet.’

An insider added: ‘It’s a nightmare for producers because they absolutely loved having Pete and Emily on the show. 

‘Now they’re struggling for content and storylines with just Princess alone and miss those interactions with her family at home.’

During series one, Pete was filmed supporting Princess as she learned to drive and delivering an emotional speech at her 18th birthday party, an event Katie claimed she was excluded from.

The Princess Diaries, which has been renewed for two new seasons, also showed the teen at home with her family, including stepmother Emily, while Katie appeared only via a voice recording.
