Kathy Griffin, 65, shares cost of her third facelift

Kathy Griffin has let slip some secret information about her third facelift.

The redheaded star shared how much the work costs during her appearance on Dear Media’s The Good Guys podcast this week.

And the price tag is double what The Kardashians veteran Kris Jenner, 70, paid for her recent facelift. 

The 65-year-old stand-up comedienne had the surgery done in the spring by Beverly Hills-based celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr. Ben Talei.

‘I’ve had three facelifts,’ began the My Life On The D-List star. 

‘When I decided to talk about it on my little YouTube show, took off… I mean, I thought that doctor was gonna propose. He was so excited. So yes.’

Before revealing how much she paid, Kathy dropped that there are some plastic surgeons charging as much as $1 million for facelifts.

Kathy then revealed the price she paid for her third time under the knife: a staggering $218,000.

In August Kathy confirmed she had a third face lift.

‘Very taut is also very true!’ she said on her Talk Your Head Off podcast three months ago.

‘It’s my third. I know that’s so vain! I’m so vain for no reason. No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face. You come to hear my jokes, which is what I want.

‘I don’t want you to come to care what I look like. I’m in Lululemons today for God’s sake. I’m in my fat pants. I don’t have dysmorphia… I have a little.’

At the time, Kathy revealed her new face came courtesy of Dr. Ben Talei, who previously worked on her singer friend Sia.

And it wasn’t just Griffin’s face as she revealed her cosmetic procedure also included a blepharoplasty, foxy eye lift, and work on her chin.

‘There’s a stitch in my chin, which you’re probably not going to see unless you’re under me, but not in that way,’ she added.

‘I’m going to be honest. It’s painful. So these bi***es that are like, ‘It’s like getting a tooth filled! It’s nothing!’ No, it’s painful.’

In 2020, she was hospitalized for an addiction to pills – Oxycontin, Valium, Klonopin, Ativan, Adderall, and Provigil – which stemmed from past injuries. 

‘Then you go to this rich lady recovery place. It’s not all ladies. I saw a couple dudes there, but everybody’s kind of in hiding and I had gauze on like a soccer ball,’ Griffin continued.

‘You get out of that place and you come home and maybe you come home with a nurse, and it’s disgusting. I’m not going to lie. The first night there’s drains that come out of your chin. I know it’s so gross. But the vanity takes over.’

Griffin – who had half of her left lung removed in 2021 cancer battle – has previously admitted to having her breasts enlarged. She also said she had a brow-lift, a facial peel, and liposuction.

Her plastic surgery journey originally began in 1986, at age 26, with a nose job.

In October she said she feels her divorce from Randy Bick was ‘harder’ than her lung cancer battle.

Her marriage to her second husband officially came to end in January when the divorce was finalized and she confessed that it was tougher to take than her 2021 cancer diagnosis.

Kathy told People magazine: ‘My divorce took me out, I’m not going to lie. It was harder than cancer.’

The comedian and actress revealed that her attempts to find new romance on dating apps haven’t gone to plan so far.

She said: ‘I went on a date with a guy who told me if he wanted to, he could kill me with his thumb in under two seconds. Welcome to dating over 60.’
