Katie Price Blasts Myleene Klass, Calls Industry ‘Corrupt’ Over MBE Award

Katie Price has launched a scathing attack on Myleene Klass, branding her a ‘t**d’ and a ‘clone’.

The TV personality, 47,  took umbrage with Myleene, 47, over the decision for her to be awarded an MBE earlier this year and claimed the industry was ‘corrupt’.

Myleene was honoured for her services to women’s health, miscarriage awareness and charity at an investiture ceremony in July.

‘I’m not against this for her, but why the f*** has Myleene Klass got an MBE? For playing the classical piano?,’ Katie told Closer Magazine.

‘This industry is so corrupt. They have the same managers, they’re all clones – they all win MBEs and are fronting TV.

‘But behind the scenes, they’re worse than we are. T**ds are what they are.’

Daily Mail has contacted Myleene’s representatives for comment.

Myleene has campaigned for paid bereavement leave to be extended to those who experience a miscarriage.

The mother-of-three suffered four miscarriages and has spoken openly about the psychological effects of baby loss on women.

She is an ambassador for the pregnancy and baby charity Tommy’s and fronted the Bafta-nominated documentary Myleene Klass: Miscarriage And Me in 2021, in which she met women around the UK to hear their experiences.

Myleene wrote of her achievement on Instagram: ‘Having my family there and our rainbow baby boy was extra magical in what has at times been a very dark journey for us all.’

While she concluded her post: ‘Before this and my (bafta nominated) documentary Myleene Klass: Miscarriage and Me, it did feel like no one really mentioned the dark secret of Miscarriage, the shame, the taboo, now, it’s said loudly in the walls of the Palace and around Westminster.

‘For the voices that were never heard, i promise you, this is just the beginning…..’

The former Hear’Say star was joined by her fiancé Simon Motson, son Apollo, and her two daughters, Ava, 18, and Hero, 14, who she shares with ex-husband Graham Quinn at the investiture.

In March, Myleene fought back the tears on Loose Women as they congratulated her on her MBE.

At the start of the episode of the ITV show, Christine shared the news that she had been given the outstanding achievement.

Myleene explained: ‘It’s for my services to miscarriage.

‘So it feels really important, but because it is that subject matter, all that work understandably feels really sad and really heavy.’
