A teenager has detailed the dark side of being an X-rated content creator while based in a small country town.
Maddi Miller, 19, is from Western Australia and is in the top one per cent of creators on OnlyFans.
But the title has caused her to receive a lot of criticism and judgment from locals in her rural country town, as most are well aware of her career in the sex industry.
According to Perth Now, Maddi has warned others about the dangers of being so open on the internet.
‘If you’re doing OnlyFans or any kind of sex work in a small town, you need to be smart about it. It’s much easier here for your personal information to be found out and spread around,’ Miller said.

‘I notice people pointing at me if I’m at the shops, and I’ve been approached at times. It’s hard because I don’t want my personal information out to the world.’
The sex worker also said she’s received comments online, claiming that her work is ‘fatherless behaviour’ and encouraging her to quit while she’s still young.
Aside from the trolling and name-calling on social media and in public, Maddi shut down a common stereotype OnlyFans creators experience.
‘If people know that you have an OnlyFans profile and then assume you must be “up for anything”, that’s not only inaccurate but dangerous,’ she added.

The saucy star also opened up about a horrific moment she endured while on a recent camping trip with a group of friends.
Her getaway took a dark turn when one of the campmates began sharing her explicit content with other campers.
‘When I got there, I realised one person had subscribed to my OnlyFans account. They had been showing everyone my videos and joking about me behind my back,’ she said.
Ultimately, the model didn’t recommend OnlyFans to everyone from a small communities and, despite loving where she lives, may move ‘to a different place one day’ after paying off her mortgage.
