2025’s Most Shocking Hollywood Cosmetic Transformations: Subtle Tweaks You Missed

From Kris Jenner’s age-defying facelift to Mandy Moore’s unrecognisable red carpet appearance, 2025 has been the year of shocking celebrity transformations.

A-listers haven’t been shy about tweaking their appearance, whether it’s in the form of subtle tweaks or full blown makeovers. 

Speaking to Daily Mail, Beverly Hills-based surgeon Dr. Deepak Dugar said that there’s been a shift back to more ‘natural aesthetics’ following a decade of overdone surgery.

’10 years ago, the overly plastic look was hot and today we’re on the other end of the pendulum again where the most natural look is in vogue again,’ he explained. 

The board-certified surgeon, who is famous for his signature ‘scarless’ nose jobs, said that subtle rhinoplasty and facelifts have been two of the most in-demand procedures this year.

‘I think this year’s most popular trends are closed scarless rhinoplasty, which is still the most coveted by celebrities wanting to tweak their nose in the most natural way with no tell tale signs of surgery,’ he said, before adding, ‘Ski slope pointy nose jobs are out!’ 

For the more ‘mature demographic’, Dr. Dugar said that many are turning to either SMAS facelifts or the classic deep plane facelift.

The SMAS layer is fascia, a strong layer of tissue, that sits beneath the skin and muscles of the face.

SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) plication is a surgical technique used in facelifts to address sagging and wrinkles by tightening and lifting the SMAS layer

It’s considered less invasive than the deep plane facelift and typically involves folding and suturing the SMAS to create a lifting effect.

‘It can turn back the clock without an overly pulled look,’ Dr. Dugar explained. 

‘The natural aesthetic has never been so hot.’ 

Kris Jenner 

One of the most talked-about facelifts of the year belonged to Kris Jenner. 

The momager just celebrated her 70th birthday, but she doesn’t look a day over 40 thanks to her age-defying beauty.

The Kardashian matriarch has been proudly flaunting her youthful looks all summer after undergoing a $100k facelift.

She sought the expertise of Dr. Steven M. Levine – known as the ‘facelift maestro’ – to help her achieve her fresh-faced makeover. 

Posing for a stunning cover shoot for Vogue Arabia’s September issue, the star spoke openly about her decision to go under the knife earlier this year.

Speaking to the magazine, Kris unapologetically admitted that ‘for me, this is ageing gracefully.’ 

‘I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,’ she confessed.

‘I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.’

She continued, ‘Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. 

‘If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is ageing gracefully. It’s my version.’

Amelia Gray Hamlin 

Supermodel Amelia Gray Hamlin shocked viewers of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last month when she took to the runway.

The 24-year-old, who is the daughter of actors Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, has completely transformed her appearance since breaking into the modelling world as a fresh-faced teenager.  

The brunette’s once plump cheeks are now hollowed out to match her sculpted jawline, and her lips are far plumper than they once were.

Her role in the annual fashion show drew a mixed reception online, with one person writing, ‘I miss when Victoria’s Secret models were natural looking.’ 

Aesthetic physician Dr. Jennifer Armstrong, who has never treated Hamlin, believes that she’s ‘definitely had plastic surgery’ to achieve her incredible looks.

‘It’s pretty clear that she’s had a rhinoplasty and lip lift,’ the Newport-based injector told the Daily Mail when asked to give her opinion on before-and-after images of the model.

‘Her cheeks could be surgical or non-surgical – either cheek filler or implants. Her lower face is less heavy but wider via chin reshaping and jawline filler,’ she continued.

‘Then obviously lip filler. She’s a beautiful girl but she has had a few tweaks to put her on the runway.’ 

While Hamlin has never admitted to cosmetic surgery, she did go under the knife at 16 for a breast reduction for medical reasons after contracting strep from a nipple piercing. 

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for comment and has yet to hear back. 

Charlotte Flair 

Charlotte Flair is one of the most talented and decorated women in professional wrestling.

While her incredible skills in the ring aren’t up for debate, countless wrestling fans have discussed Flair’s physical appearance over the years.

Many have pointed out how much the star has changed since she first made her TV debut on WWE’s NXT brand back in 2013.

Speaking to Daily Mail, board-certified surgeon Dr. Smita Ramanadham, who has not treated Flair, speculated that the wrestler may have experimented with injectables.

Looking at before and after photos of the star, the New Jersey-based surgeon said she’d, ‘likely had some botox in her masseters, forehead and a brow lift, either with surgery or Botox.

Dr. Ramanadham added, ‘She has had some weight loss, her face looks slimmer overall. She likely has had some lip filler.’

Flair has never admitted to undergoing plastic surgery outside of a breast augmentation.

In 2018, she had to get another surgery after one of her implants ruptured and started leaking silicone. 

In July, she addressed speculation that she’d undergone cosmetic surgery in an essay for The Player’s Tribune.

‘I’ve dealt with stuff like that my whole career… but I try not to take it personally,’ she wrote. 

‘On some level, I get it: I’m (relatively) famous, and I make a very good living from work that involves showing off my body,’ she added.

She said that at one point she had ‘thousands of notifications’ on Twitter from wrestling fans speculating on whether or not she’d had plastic surgery.

Flair also admitted that she’d ‘always been pretty self-conscious’ about her physical appearance.

Despite denying going under the knife, that hasn’t stopped people in the business from talking about her looks.

In a recent episode of his podcast, former WWE manager Dutch Mantel said, ‘Hey, did Charlotte Flair get some… she had a lot of plastic surgery, did she? Well, she doesn’t look like she did before she left.’

Bhad Bhabie 

Influencer Bhad Bhabie, real name Danielle Bregoli, has undergone a plastic surgery makeover in the last 12 months. 

The 21-year-old had her breasts done and silicone injections removed from her buttocks on December 12 before following up with a nose job in January.  

Bregoli said that she had ‘always wanted a nose job’ and that she had also decided to get her breasts done after the birth of her daughter Kali Love last year.

‘If you don’t think I’m a live my life to the fullest and do everything that I wanna do without a care in the world about what you’ve got to say about me… I’m a do me, always!’

This is far from the first time that the young influencer has had cosmetic procedures.

She’s previously admitted to getting lip and facial fillers, as well as ‘sculptra and silicone’ in her buttocks when she was just 16.

Last year, Bregoli had her facial fillers dissolved after complaining that they had aged her.

‘Stop doing it unless you absolutely need it, it makes you look so much older and blocks you [sic] lymphatic draining system causing pillow face,’ she warned her fans. 

Mandy Moore 

Longtime fans had trouble recognizing Mandy Moore when she stepped out for the Inspiration Awards in September.

The Candy singer, 41, looked slimmer in the face than usual and wore a different makeup style than her fans are used to.

Instead of the usual soft pinks and nudes that she favors in her usual lipstick shades, Moore went for a bright red lip and a dramatically dark eye and brow – which led to questions around her appearance. 

Social media users didn’t hold back on Moore’s new look, with one fan writing, ‘I refuse to believe that this is her!’

Speaking to Daily Mail, Dr. Ramanadham, who hasn’t treated Moore, speculated that she may have had an upper blepharoplasty, which is currently one of the most popular treatments around.

‘She has had significant weight loss and Botox,’ alleged Dr. Ramanadham.

‘This is apparent around her eyes. She’s likely had an upper eyelid lift as well, as her eyes look more open.’

Moore has never confirmed any plastic surgery, and in 2018 she denied rumors that she’d had a nose job. The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for comment and has yet to hear back.

‘People think everyone in Hollywood has had a nose job or some work done, but it’s not always true,’ she told Allure.

‘People are going to believe what they want, and that’s fine. And if having work done is going to make somebody feel better about themselves, then more power to them.’

Sami Sheen

Sami Sheen has made no secret of her plastic surgery journey, beginning with breast implants when she was just 19. 

After dabbling with Botox and fillers, the OnlyFans model, who is the daughter of actors Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, went under the knife for a rhinoplasty.

She was treated by Dr. Deepak Dugar, opting for his signature Scarless Nose Rhinoplasty procedure.  

The procedure is known for its subtlety and minimal recovery time compared to some traditional nose surgeries.

‘I’m so happy I finally did this!’ Sami gushed on TikTok after the surgery.

‘Thank you for everything @deepakdugarmd, you are seriously the best surgeon out there!’

She has since admitted to getting veneers and has said that she’d like to get her breast implants even bigger. 

‘I feel like I could have gone bigger, and I really wish I’d gone bigger,’ she confessed.

‘When the time comes to get them redone I’m definitely going bigger, and I think I’m going to go over the muscle so they look a little more natural.’

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor has been one of the most surprising celebrity transformations this year due to her past as an outspoken body positivity advocate.

The blonde bombshell, who once crooned about curves in her hit single All About That Bass, is now stick thin thanks to the weight loss drug Mounjaro.

On top of losing weight, the 31-year-old also had a lip lift and a breast augmentation.

Her Barbie doll makeover has shocked longtime fans, with some comparing her to Paris Hilton. 

She first debuted her boob job on Instagram back in March after undergoing a breast augmentation and lift. 

‘I’ve always struggled with loving my boobs before I got them done, because they were never even, were always sagging my whole life,’ Trainor told her fans on Instagram.

The singer shared the surgery was in collaboration with the company Motiva and that the implants she got have a ‘natural look and feel.’

‘My breasts look fuller yet completely natural and they complement my body proportions beautifully. They’re finally twin sisters and not distant cousins.’

While giving a glimpse of her chest post-procedure, she said, ‘After having two kids, living a healthier lifestyle and losing weight, I couldn’t be happier with my decision.’ 

In April, it was also revealed that both Meghan and her husband Daryl had taken the type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro to aid in their weight loss journey.
