‘It’s going to be hard. And I’m going to miss her Birmingham show and I’m gutted I’m not going to be there but I know that she’s going to be my biggest cheerleader.’

Alex added: ‘I’m getting emotional now, I’m trying not to even think about how long we’re going to be separated, hopefully I’ll see her on that bridge but we’ll see.’

It comes after she shared an emotional goodbye with her supportive girlfriend of two years, Jess, at Heathrow Airport on Monday.

The survival reality show – which is presented by Declan Donnelly, 50, and Ant McPartlin, 49 – will be back on ITV this coming Sunday.

What makes the programme so great every year is the selection of famous faces ready to take on the jungle in Dungay, New South Wales.

Irish TV personality, Vogue Williams, and beloved Celebs Go Dating receptionist, Tom Read Wilson, have been confirmed as the late entries to this year’s I’m A Celeb

Each year, two contestants enter a week later than the first batch of ten celebrities and typically have to complete their own task before joining the rest of the camp.
