Megan McKenna’s fans believe they have determined her baby’s gender after she shares unusual cravings

Pregnant Megan McKenna left fans convinced she had inadvertently revealed the gender of her first baby while detailing her cravings during a Instagram video on Saturday.

The former TOWIE star, 31, announced on Thursday she was expecting with footballer fiancé Oliver Burke, before saying she would not be making a gender reveal announcement. 

Now in her latest video Megan confirmed she was 13-weeks pregnant and discussed her most recent cravings before cooking herself a sumptuous breakfast, wish she could ‘eat all day’ followed by fresh oranges. 

Taking to the comments section one fan said: ‘Apparently orange cravings means it’s going to be a boy’. 

While a second said: ‘How funny I just commented about craving oranges and I had a boy!’.

Elsewhere in the video she showed off her tiny belly and gushed: ‘My little bump today. I love it. It feels so weird, like, it’s just so weird having it there’.

Megan and Oliver previously said they are excited to go through the pregnancy, but the journey has not been smooth sailing.

In the sweet video on Thursday , she said: ‘I have been eating my three meals a day because before, I would just eat a huge dinner and snack through the day. I know that is not good for the baby.’

‘I have been really unwell and stuff. It’s been a rollercoaster. But it all turned out okay,’ she added.

Cradling her blossoming bump while cooking a chicken and vegetable soup, the TV personality said they are very excited about the pregnancy and are glad they no longer have to keep their baby a secret.

Megan said they will not be partaking in the trendy ritual of a gender reveal because they believe there are seldom surprises quite like the one of a baby.

She said: ‘We are so excited, but we have decided that we are not going to do a gender reveal. We are going to wait and be surprised because I think you never get surprises in life quite like that.’

She wrote alongside photos of the ultrasound: ‘A little bit of you & a little bit of me… now we’re a family ♥️.’ 

Megan showed off her baby bump in parts of the clip as she posed in a dressing gown, while other moments showed her holding up her scan.

She also shared the moment her and Birmingham City player Oliver discovered she was expecting after she had taken a test. 

Another sweet moment showed Oliver hugging her and touching her bump as they stood in front of a mirror. 

Her friends were quick to congratulate her in the comments as Love Island’s Liberty Poole penned: ‘Congrats beautiful so excited for you !!!’ 

She made the happy announcement on her Instagram on Thursday as she shared a sweet montage of clips

She penned in the caption: ‘A little bit of you & a little bit of me… now we’re a family ♥️’

Lottie Tomlinson wrote: ‘Awwwww congratulations’, while Wayne Lineker joked: ‘Congrats guys. Guess we won’t be seeing you at ocean this year then Megs.’

Last June Megan announced the news that she was engaged to Oliver after just five months together.

The pair have gone from strength to strength since they were first spotted together in February of that year, and after a romantic getaway to Montenegro, Megan revealed they’d taken things to the next level.

Sharing a video montage of their holiday, she penned: ‘YES YES YES a thousand times YES. You have opened up a world I never thought was possible.
