In an Instagram post filled with celebrity faces, Kris Jenner gushed about her 70th birthday party, held this weekend at the Beverley Hills mega-mansion of Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos.
‘I am beyond blessed and so very grateful for my precious family and friends,’ Kris wrote under a carousel of glossy photos, which included snap after snap of her A-list attendees – from Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z, to Justin and Hailey Bieber, and even Prince Harry and Meghan.
But for all those famous couplings, Kris’s youngest daughter Kylie Jenner – dressed in a plunging, backless white gown – cut a distinctly lonely figure.
For the 28-year-old’s boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, actor Timothee Chalamet, 29, was nowhere to be seen.
His absence comes as rumors of an on-again-off-again romance have dogged the young in couple recent months.
Now, say sources, it really is ‘trouble in paradise’ for the Dune star and the Kylie Cosmetics founder.

Chalamet has ‘broken up with Kylie’, one insider told the Daily Mail, before adding that ‘this has happened before – but she talked him into getting back together. She is crazy about him so that could well happen again.’
‘There is trouble in paradise, but they aren’t completely over,’ a second insider told the Daily Mail.
‘He is filming quite a bit, and she feels that she has to chase him. She is putting in the work more than him.’
This comes as Chalamet sat down with Vogue for a cover interview last week in which many perceived him to take a shot at Jenner.
Noting that the actor ‘will not talk about his relationship’, the Vogue interviewer quoted him as saying: ‘I don’t say that with any fear, I just don’t have anything to say.’
Ever since Chalamet and Jenner – who shares two children with rapper Travis Scott – struck up their romance in April 2023 after having met at Paris Fashion Week, the somewhat unexpected pairing, between the French-speaking actor and the influencer nepo-baby, has caused a stir.
‘Club Chalamet’ – the infamous fan account run by 58-year-old Timothee-obsessive Simone Cromer – has taken a particular disliking, urging her tens of thousands of followers to make Kylie feel unwelcome at public events.
In August, a source said of the public backlash: ‘It doesn’t negatively impact their relationship – right now.’
