Kourtney Kardashian did not seem to be in the mood to party as she headed to mom Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash.
The star, 46, flashed quite the frosty expression as she sat in the back of a chauffeured car, her face a mixture of irritation and annoyance.
The momentary display of agitation appeared to have been fleeting – or perhaps a glimpse into something deeper – her feud with her sister Khloe Kardashian is currently unfolding on her family’s reality show.
Khloe, 41, of course, was also among the many stars present at the party.
Kourtney also has a reputation for having a cold demeanor and deadpan vocal delivery. Earlier this year she took a dig at her own reliably frosty facial expression on Instagram, joking: ‘the happiest people (smiling on the inside ;)’.

Among the guests were Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Adele, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Gayle King, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, and Naomi Watts, all dressed to the nines for the James Bond–themed blowout.
While the party was filmed by guests and attendees, insiders told People that no reality TV cameras were allowed inside, making it one of the few Kardashian celebrations not captured for The Kardashians.
‘It was just all about celebrating Kris,’ a source told People. ‘And it was everything you’d expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous and full of love from her family. It was obvious that she had the best night.’
Another insider told the outlet earlier this month that Kris has been ‘excited about turning 70.’
They added: ‘Sure, she looks amazing, but it’s her energy that stands out… she has this nonstop enthusiasm for life.’
The evening reportedly hosted around 300 invitees.
Jenner and her longtime boyfriend, Corey Gamble, are close friends with Sánchez and Bezos.
In addition to attending the couple’s Venice wedding this summer, the pals are often seen on date nights and showing public support for one another.

In September, Jenner praised Sanchez’s second children’s book, The Fly Who Flew Under The Sea, which spotlights overcoming learning differences.
‘We love you so much!!! Thank you for shining your beautiful (inside and out) light on such amazing and important causes always, but opening up about Dyslexia which is so personal for you will help and encourage so many!!! You are truly an inspiration and such a special girl and friend. I love you,’ Kris wrote on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Jenner’s birthday bash was so over the top that it had Beverly Hills neighbors dialing 911, multiple times in one night.
According to TMZ, police were dispatched to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $165 million Beverly Hills estate on Saturday after nearby residents complained about loud music blaring from the A-list celebration.

Sources at the party told the outlet that the noise ‘was off the charts,’ thanks to a live performance by Bruno Mars, which sent the glamorous crowd into a frenzy.
Under California law, noise complaints are taken seriously, especially in residential areas like Beverly Hills, where city ordinances prohibit excessive sound after 10 p.m.
Officers reportedly spoke with security and issued a warning, but that wasn’t the end of it.
Later in the night, police returned after learning that large decorative hedges had been placed outside the property to block off the street, a move that apparently required a permit the hosts didn’t have.
The fake greenery was ordered to be ‘removed [just] as dozens of celebs were leaving the party.’
