Hollywood movie star Ron Harper has died at the age of 91, it was shared on Monday.
Harper died Thursday of natural causes at his home in West Hills, his daughter, Nicole Longeuay, told The Hollywood Reporter.
He was best known for his 1974 TV seriesĀ Planet of the Apes which was based off the 1968 classic movie of the same name with Charlton Heston.
And Harper was also in the 1970s series Land Of The Lost about a family that falls into an era with prehistoric creatures.Ā
Before those two projects, Ron popped in the series The Tall Man and Laramie.Ā

He had a role as a minister opposite Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett in Pearl Harbor.Ā
The PennsylvaniaĀ native attended Princeton before heading to Hollywood for work.
His first gig was in 1955 for Kraft Theater.Ā
In addition to his films and TV series he was also in several soap operas.
Harper was on Where the Heart Is and Love of Life.Ā
