Meghan Trainor Stuns with Weight Loss at Baby2Baby Gala

Meghan Trainor looked nearly unrecognizable as she showed off her jaw-dropping weight loss at the Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old singer flaunted her dramatic body transformation while attending the star-studded event at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Saturday evening.

The All About That Bass hitmaker wowed in a princess style white, corset gown from Alin Le Kal at the event.

She wore a pair of satin opera gloves with the ballgown, which featured layers of tulle at the bottom and a sequined, peplum corset at the top.

Trainor — who looked slimmer than ever while shooting a music video earlier this week — styled her honey blonde tresses in a chic updo with bangs framing her face.

She was joined by her husband, Spy Kids alum Daryl Sabara, 33, and posed on the red carpet. 

This comes as the musician has been showing off the results of a dramatic weight loss transformation and breast augmentation surgery. 

‘This is Meghan Trainor? Omg,’ one person wrote on X about her changed appearance.

Another fan tweeted a meme of Beyoncé making a shocked expression and wrote: ‘WHERE IS MEGHAN AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HER?’ 

‘At the end, she wasn’t all about the bass,’ one social media person wrote. 

‘The same woman that said, “I won’t be no stick figure silicone barbie doll,”‘ another X user added. 

As many people expressed shock, however, there were also fans showing their support. 

‘I’m not going to hate on her for losing weight. Hopefully, her health as [sic] improved as a result,’ one person tweeted. 

After welcoming her youngest son in 2023, Trainor opened up about her weight loss journey and was candid about her use of Moujaro to lose weight. 

She shares sons Riley, four, and two-year-old Barry with her husband. 

She also revealed she had developed gestational diabetes after welcoming her two sons with Sabara.

Trainor opened up about her health journey in an Instagram post to her 18 million followers earlier this year.

‘No, I don’t look like I did ten years ago. I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,’ she wrote in a caption in March.

‘I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy,’ she admitted in her post. 

‘And I’m so glad I did because I feel great,’ she continued. 

‘But it’s a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here.’ 

Trainor lamented: ‘This is what it’s like to be a woman in the music industry.’ 

‘Here’s to celebrating talent, growth, and the power of putting yourself first,’ she concluded. ‘Let’s keep shifting the convo to what really matters. With love.’ 

Speaking on her podcast, Workin’ On It, Trainor said she began taking Mounjaro, which Daryl also took, because doctors recommended it. 

‘We heard more of our friends and even our doctors were on Mounjaro and Ozempic and all these drugs,’ she added.
