Fern Britton has her fellow housemates worried as she gathers them around for a candid chat in scenes set to air on Tuesday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother.

The presenter, 66, was left emotional on Monday and even headed to bed early after she planted a snake in Louis Walsh’s bed.

While Big Brother told Fern the snake would mean Louis would be put up from eviction, yet in a shock twist it actually gave him immunity from the nominations, giving him a straight pass into the grand final.

And with the former X Factor judge, 71, on a mission to find out which ‘snake’ planted the snake in his bed, Fern heads to the Diary Room to talk with Big Brother.

Fern says, ‘I don’t like keeping it a secret and I’d like to tell them it’s me and this is how it unfolded and I’m sorry.’

On Monday, after the Housemates found the red snake on Louis’ pillow, he was the first to be called into the diary room to nominate.

In a dramatic turn of events, viewers then found out that Big Brother had lied to Fern, as Louis was told he had been chosen by a fellow housemate to be evicted, which is why a snake was placed on his pillow.

He was then told to look into the hatch in front of him where he found a four-leaf clover, which meant his missed the next round of nominations and guaranteed his spot in the grand final.

Determined to uncover the culprit, Louis pledged to unravel the mystery, convinced it’s ‘never the obvious person.’

Pointing at Coronation Street’s Colson Smith he said: ‘I know it wasn’t him, it could be anybody else.’

Louis then said: ‘I’ve watched you all week, I’ve been watching everybody, it’s never who you think…’
