Mo Gilligan has reportedly broken his silence on fathering a child with a model who slammed him online.
The comedian, 37, had a short-lived romance with model Selina Christoforou, who gave birth to their son, named Rudi, in January 2024.
Mo, who welcomed a baby with his fiancée Taia Tulher over summer, remained silent when Selina blasted him for being an absent father.
But months on, the TV star reportedly spoke about his 22-month-old son and ex during a comedy skit at a south London pub.
He said on stage, according to The Sun: ‘He’s a very lovely boy. A very, very lovely boy and despite whatever you see on social media, his mum is a good mum.
‘I’m not here to disrespect. That’s the mother of my child. And I would never disrespect her publicly be- cause she’s raising my son. He’s very polite.

‘He’s very kind, he’s very loving.’
Mo is said to have made a joke about paying child maintenance for Rudi, saying if you see him on Antiques Roadshow ‘you’ll be like, “The rent is due”.’
Daily Mail has contacted Mo’s representatives for comment.
Selina publicly blasted the TV personality for failing to offer any support, claiming he showed no interest in their child since his birth in January 2024.
In a viral TikTok video, Selina, 35, claimed she could ‘count on her fingers and toes’ how many times Mo had seen the child over the last 17 months.
Sharing her version of events, she said: ‘I just finally posted on Instagram about my son’s dad so for your information…
‘If you don’t follow my Instagram I don’t blame you. Um, Mo Gilligan is his ‘dad’. Very much in quotation marks.
‘I’ve kept that for nine very long months of being pregnant on my own, bringing up my son on my own.

‘Pretty much ignored his existence for the first year of his life, barely bothers with him now – can probably use my fingers and toes to count how many times he’s even f***ing met him, you know. I kept thinking no, it’ll get better. It has to get better.
‘Rudi, that’s my son, he’s so unbelievable, he’s the most amazing child. He’s such a f***ing joy and I just kept thinking that would be enough.
‘I completely get you can’t make someone be a dad and he made it also very clear he didn’t want to be a dad and seemed to kind of change his mind.’
Selina is said to have become pregnant after dating Mo after they met online, and decided to keep the unborn child, despite it coming as a shock to the ‘careful’ pair.
Following Selina’s blistering attack, Mo then shared a rare video of his son, showing the little boy enjoying some quality time with his father.
The brief black-and-white clip featured the youngster, whose identity was concealed, gazing up at the camera while playing a game.
Meanwhile in September this year, it was reported Mo had welcomed a baby with his fiancée Taia.
The couple are said to be keeping the baby’s name and gender private.
