Married At First Sight’s Lauren Dunn has responded to a shock report she has a secret Bali boyfriend she met shortly before signing onto the dating experiment.
According to the publication, the glamorous PR maven, 32, is said to be ‘head over heels’ with her mysterious beau and ‘has no plans to stay’ with husband Jono McCullough, 39, after the show ends.
‘She’d apparently told friends this guy in Bali was “perfect” for her, but she was still curious to see what type of man the experts would choose for her,’ an insider told this week’s New Idea.
‘Because Lauren had made it onto the show, she felt she may as well make a go of things with whoever she was matched with.’
They added that Lauren would likely soon tell Jono she was in love with another man, effectively ending her relationship with him.

‘In the beginning, Jono thought he could win Lauren over. But it seems like he had no chance if she was already hung up on somebody on the outside.’
However, Lauren told Daily Mail Australia on Monday the report had been exaggerated and wanted to set the record straight.
‘You’ve got to give it to some of these publications, they are very good with their creative writing. It’s just a bit ridiculous. I didn’t have a Bali boyfriend,’ she began.

‘I told Jono at the very beginning of the experiment. We were talking about our past hookups and who we’d been with. I mentioned I had a holiday fling before the show.
‘I feel like me being honest about that has come back to blow up in my face later down the line. It’s almost being used against me.’
It comes after photos emerged that appear to show Lauren Dunn and Jono McCullough living separate lives during filming.

The health business owner and PR maven were spotted spending their weekends apart on a number of different occasions.
While other couples spent their breaks together, Jono and Lauren wanted almost nothing to do with each other when cameras weren’t rolling.
‘Lauren didn’t want to spend any time with Jono when they weren’t filming,’ a well-placed insider told Daily Mail Australia.
Jono, on his part, seemed to prioritise his gym sessions, while Lauren was content with her sleep ins and was frequently seen with fellow bride Sara Mesa.
