Supermodel Miranda Kerr shares the unexpected items she brought in her hospital bag for the birth of her fourth child

Miranda Kerr welcomed her fourth child, a baby boy named Pierre, with husband Evan Spiegel on Sunday.

And shortly before giving birth, the supermodel, 40, gave fans a glimpse at the surprising items she had packed in her hospital bag.

In a video shared to her husband’s social media platform Snapchat, the Kora Organics founder was seen unpacking a yellow Louis Vuitton duffel bag, worth around $6,300.

‘I like to pack things that are not only practical but also things that can create like a serene tranquil atmosphere,’ the heavily pregnant brunette explained.

She then pulled out a crystal lamp, also known as a salt lamp, which Miranda surprisingly said she has brought to hospital every time she gives birth.

‘It really does set the tone,’ the skincare guru beamed.

Miranda also brought her aromatherapy diffuser so she could enjoy ‘a little essential oil aromatherapy blend’ while giving birth.

Next, the model showed off the designer clothing she had brought with her, including a pair of comfortable pajamas by Bumpsuit- a brand for which Miranda is an ambassador.

Other clothing items included a pair of printed socks and a nursing bra.

Miranda proceeded to show off her snack supplies for the hospital – a packet of organic dried mango strips.

Next up was Miranda’s hairbrush, toothpaste, phone chargers and cosmetics from her own skincare line, including a $68 turmeric scrub, which she ‘doesn’t go anywhere without’, and a bottle of $59 mint-infused face mist to refresh her skin.

She also brought a bottle of Kora Organics’ $84 noni plant extract body oil that she ‘used throughout her whole pregnancy’.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel also packed several items in a Dior duffel bag worth $4,700.

These included sanitary pads, baby nappies, wipes, cloths and a cute outfit for her newborn to wear home from the hospital.

Surprisingly, Miranda also brought along her own tea cup, presumably from her own collection with Royal Albert.

Miranda announced she had given birth to Pierre on Sunday via a post on Snapchat.

‘We are overjoyed by the arrival of our little ray of sunshine, Pierre Kerr Spiegel,’ she shared.

‘We couldn’t be more excited to welcome our fourth son into our family. Feeling so very blessed.’

Miranda and Evan’s choice of name for their newborn son may well be a touching tribute to the model’s beloved grandfather, Peter, who passed away in February 2021 after a battle with cancer.

At the time, Miranda described her grandpa as the family’s ‘rock’, adding in a heartfelt statement that ‘his spirit will continue to live through our family and all those he loved’.

Alongside the heartwarming announcement, Miranda shared a sweet image of a blue blanket embroidered with her newborn son’s name, as well as an adorable pair of yellow knit baby booties and a bouquet of flowers.

Miranda and Evan, who tied the knot in 2017, now have three sons together – baby Pierre, five-year-old Hart, and four-year-old Myles – and the model and businesswoman also shares a fourth son, Flynn, 13, with her former husband Orlando Bloom.
