Netflix Fans Excited as Remake of Iconic Series with 100% Rotten Tomato Rating Finally Released

Netflix fans went wild on Thursday when the remake of an iconic animated series rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes finally dropped.

All eight episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender were released on the streaming platform – a massive six years after the show was first announced.

Avatar follows a young monk named Aang who is the last surviving ‘Airbender’ and, unbeknownst to him,  the eighth reincarnation of the Avatar, the human embodiment of light and peace.

Originally a Nickelodeon cartoon which ran from 2005 to 2008, this Netflix adaptation marks the second live-remake of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The first was 2010 feature film The Last Airbender.
