Etterlene DeBarge – who is an icon in gospel music and the matriarch of the famous DeBarge family – has passed away at 88.
The mother-of-ten died peacefully in her sleep at Berkley Post-Acute in Woodland Hills Friday morning her daughter Etterlene ‘Bunny’ DeBarge told TMZ.
No official cause of death has been announced according to the site.
Their insiders did reveal, however, the the music legend had been ill and battling dementia.
