Rebecca and Chris Judd have sold their Arthurs Seat property at a loss.
The couple parted ways with the stunning property on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula in May, having listed it in February for $2.85million to $3million.
The Herald Sun reported this week that the sales figure had been released in public records, revealing the couple took a six-figure hit on the listing price’s upper end.
It also fell $70,000 short of the Melbourne power couple’s baseline price, changing hands at $2.78 million – $220,000 less than the wishful $3million.
Marshall White Stonnington director Ben Veith, who oversaw the sale, refused to comment about the sale price, but he did reveal the house’s furniture and design pieces created by Rebecca were included in the deal.
‘She wanted to sell it as she created it,’ he said.

‘The property was done to a level that’s not typically seen at that price point in the area,’ he continued.
‘The level of detail and the fixtures and the fittings were like those in homes that would sell for tens of millions of dollars in Melbourne suburbs.’
Rebecca took a hands-on approach to the renovation and was active in updating her 752,000 Instagram followers on the progress.
She told Domain.com.au after listing the property, ‘I find that when I’m involved, things get done really quickly.
‘I’m cracking the whip the whole time. I’m a good communicator and I work with a team who are good communicators. We put out fires before they happen.’
She added one of the things she loved most about the property was its gorgeous semi-rural location, which is just a short distance from a variety of amenities.
Rebecca and Chris first purchased the Arthurs Seat property in 2016 when Rebecca was pregnant with twin boys Tom and Darcy.
They then spent several years turning the brick house, built in the 1970s, into a family retreat, with the help of The Melbourne Builder & Co.

The lavish home features three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and luxurious finishes throughout.
The main bedroom comes complete with an ensuite and built-in wardrobes, while oak joinery and flooring and exposed beams feature throughout the stunning home.
Meanwhile, the kitchen boasts a benchtop and splashback made from Patagonia quartzite, which was quarried in South America.
The spacious open-plan living area is bathed in natural light, providing an inviting and airy atmosphere.
Award-winning landscape architect Nathan Burkett designed the lush gardens, which include a heated pool, exquisite gardens and entertainment areas.
The property offers sweeping views of the surrounding hills, making it ideal for both relaxation and entertaining.
Rebecca had previously described the space on Instagram as, ‘the modern, bush, Australiana, country kitchen of my dreams.’
In August 2022, Rebecca and Chris’s plans to update the hideaway to create a ‘secluded, modern, rural escape’ were approved.
Sitting not far from a country road near the small town of Arthurs Seat, the bush property is home to towering trees, ferns and native plants.
The couple and their children Oscar, 13, Billie, 10 and twins Tom and Darcy, eight, call a lavish $7.3million mansion in the swanky suburb of Brighton home.
