Ashley Graham’s Tape Trick for CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet

Ashley Graham revealed just how much tape it took to secure her chest for her glamorous CFDA Fashion Awards red carpet appearance at The American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Monday. 

The American model, 38, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share several highlights from her evening at the star-studded event. 

And among her photo dump, Ashley gave fans an insight into the prep required to ensure her bust sat perfectly in her stunning white satin gown. 

In a mirror selfie shared ahead of the awards ceremony, the model sported a plethora of boob tape on her chest to provide support in place of a bra, which would have been visible under the sleek fabric. 

For the occasion, Ashley wowed in a sleeveless satin dress featuring a high neckline and a gorgeous backless cowl detail. 

She added height to her frame with pale gold pointed heels and toted her essentials in a chic mini cream woven handbag. 

The brunette beauty looked nothing short of sensational as she struck a series of sultry poses on the red carpet. 

Elsewhere in the photo dump, Ashley gave fans a glimpse of how her night ended, swapping her glamorous gown and heels for a cosy baby-pink tracksuit as she posed for a selfie on her ride home. 

Her night out came after she flaunted her famous curves for all to see last month, as she walked the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Exuding confidence, Ashley slipped into a lacy black bra and semi-sheer underwear as she strutted down the catwalk, with fuzzy black wings and a modest train trailing behind her.

It marked Victoria’s Secret’s second show back after a six-year hiatus nearly spelled doom for the lingerie brand.

And as Ashley was joined by the likes of Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima and Emily Ratajkowski, it became clear that it was the mothers who were stealing the show.

Parading their phenomenal figures in skimpy ensembles, the supermodel supermums had the audience watching on in awe.

And on a night celebrating all things sexy, motherhood was actively celebrated by the brand, with Jasmine Tookes making history as the only pregnant model to ever hit the runway.

Ashley shares three sons with her longtime husband Justin Ervin – five-year-old Isaac and three-year-old twins Roman and Malachi.

A body positivity figurehead, she has not been shy about showing off her postpartum figure, proudly displaying her stretch marks in social media snaps.

She made her Victoria’s Secret debut last year, when the brand made history by inviting plus-size models to take part in their show.

Ashley previously revealed that she ‘hesitated’ to join the VS family and flipped when they handed her ‘tiny, tiny underwear’.

She shared on Instagram: ‘When @victoriassecret first reached out, I’ll be honest—I hesitated. For years, the brand didn’t feel like it was made for someone like me,’ she wrote on Wednesday.

‘Their vision of beauty seemed narrow, as if everything they created was for just one type of body—and it wasn’t mine,’ she shared alongside a collection of backstage photos. ‘But after sitting down with the leadership at VS, I saw real change.’
