Michelle explained that she starts the day with a 6am alarm and a coffee brought to her in bed by doting husband Hugh Hanley.

After getting her children Faith, 13, and AJ, 10, ready for school she then heads to the gym for two hours in the morning for a fasted cardio session.

Her cardio classes of choice are a full-body HIIT workout and a high-energy class that combines athletic and martial arts-based movements.

Yet she also ensures she does strength training, with Michelle revealing she lifts weights twice a week as part of her routine.

After her workout comes breakfast with the Just A Little singer typically opting for a zero fat yogurt mixed with frozen berries, zero calorie flavour drops and a protein bar.

She revealed that breakfast is her favourite meal of the day so she makes herself a big portion then grazes on fruit or a chicken breast with salad for a light lunch.

Being a pet owner also helps keep Michelle active as she revealed that during the day she takes her dogs Skye and Bella out for a long walk.

She gets her sweet fix in the afternoon with a Diet Coke and protein bar and admitted she often finds herself snacking on the leftovers from her children’s dinner.

Her own dinner comes later when her husband returns from work, with Michelle typically opting for a jacket potato with lean mince and gravy.

‘We have potatoes with every dinner,’ Michelle shared. ‘It’s the best carb you can have, the lowest sugar, the lowest calorie.’

She added that they also try and have fish twice a week.

Currently, Michelle is training for her upcoming production, Ultimate Girl Band Show, which kicks off in January in Hornchurch and concludes in October in Chatham.

Te Liberty X star is touring the UK with West End singers for a show that celebrates the biggest anthems from the world’s most iconic girl bands, including Spice Girls, TLC and Pussycat Dolls.

Discussing the show, Michelle shared: ‘I’ve been waiting for almost 14 years to do a tour. It was never the right time because of the kids.

‘I still gig with Liberty X but to go out on tour and commit to a long time I had to wait until the kids were at high school because my husband works full-time.

‘I just want to have fun on stage and sing songs that empower women. It’s a good one for me and I just feel really privileged that I get to go out and do what I love.’
