Larry Emdur’s son has admitted to an embarrassing gaffe on social media.
Jye Emdur took to Instagram on Thursday to share a video of himself recounting the awkward moment he thought people were taking pictures of him – when they were actually snapping the car behind him.
In the clip, the 31-year-old could be seen sitting at Bondi Beach next to the car park while wearing a white t-shirt, backwards cap and Apple AirPods.
‘So I’m just quietly sitting at the beach, minding my own business, listening to a podcast, and I thought everyone who was walking past was taking photos of me until I realised…’ he trailed off, before panning the camera to the orange Porsche 911 parked behind him.
The highly sought-after vintage Porsche seemed to attract a fair bit of attention, which Jye confessed to thinking was directed at him.
The video seemed to be a subtle promotion of the asset finance company he works for, JustFin, which he joined in March.

Jye recently sent temperatures soaring after his dad posted an array of sexy pictures of him on Instagram.
Larry shared a couple of snaps of Jye in a campaign for his whiskey brand The Ben Buckler, and fans went nuts over The Morning Show’s good-looking son.
‘Dear Insta, please please help!’ the 60-year-old began the post’s caption.
‘I can’t choose which pic for a cool new Ben Buckler campaign. Pic A or Pic B?’
He added: ‘Also, should Jye charge me a ‘fee’ for modelling or should he do it for free coz he’s my son?’
In the first picture, Jye held a glass of whiskey in hand while wearing a pinstripe suit, seated in front of a red Ducati motorcycle.
Sweeping his full head of hair back to reveal his impressive bone structure, he looked suave as he posed for the camera.
Another snap showed Larry’s son in a more casual outfit, wearing a white singlet and blue jeans as he sipped his whiskey.

His tattooed biceps were on full display for the photoshoot, starting a frenzy in the comments section of the post.
‘You’re just lucky #booktok hasn’t seen this yet. As an MC Romance author, I definitely approve of pic B lol,’ one person shared.
Another added: ‘Oh Lordy! He’s your son??? Defs B!! That’s [fire emoji]’
‘Dear god Larry .. we need more of Jye,’ one person gushed.
