Kelly Ripa revealed one of her neighbors ‘complained’ about her Halloween candy while celebrating the holiday over the weekend.
The talk show host, 55, opened up about how she and her longtime husband Mark Consuelos enjoyed the spooky festivities before revealing she got a ‘complaint.’Â
While co-hosting with her husband for Tuesday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, she said her trick-or-treating setup did not receive all praise.
The couple also said their costumes this year were inspired by pop superstar Taylor Swift and Labubus.Â
This week’s episode comes after Ripa and Consuelos got heated previously on their show and made a shocking divorce jibe at each other.Â
A week later, the pair seemingly settled their disagreement as they joked about a frustrating experience Ripa had on Halloween.

‘If you have extra candy this year, you can donate it to schools, in care packages for troops overseas and food pantries and shelters,’ Consuelos said on their show.Â
‘Yeah, we never have leftovers,’ Ripa then joked.
‘How’d that go? I wasn’t there for that,’ he said before asking about Ripa’s time handing out candy at their New York City townhouse.Â
‘Uh, so, we ran out of candy twice and had to reorder on the fly,’ Ripa began.Â
‘And, interestingly enough, yesterday, a woman came up to me and sort of lodged a complaint that we ran out of candy.’Â
‘An adult woman,’ she emphasized.Â
‘She said, “What happened to your candy this year?” And I go, “What do you mean?” She said, “Well, you ran out.”‘Â
Ripa then explained the woman had shown up around 8:30 p.m. in the evening. ‘I said, “No, it’s over then.”‘Â

Consuelos groaned and said he wished he was there to hear the complaint in-person, but Ripa cheerfully told her husband: ‘I received it well. You would’ve been proud of me.’Â

This week’s episode followed on the heels of last week’s feisty one.Â
Ripa and Consuelos have been married for nearly 30 years and joked on the show about getting an ‘airport divorce.’Â
They openly vented about their specific annoyances with one another — including traveling gripes and Ripa’s tendency of apparently leaving toeprints on their car’s windshield window.Â
