Wayne and Coleen Rooney looked happier than ever as they cosied up to their four sons wearing matching Christmas pyjamas in a sweet family Instagram snap on Wednesday.
The couple, who have been married since 2008, relaxed on their huge cream sofa at their £20m Cheshire mansion with sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six.
The Rooney family were helping raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity in Liverpool by promoting the pyjamas.
Coleen has always supported the charity after her sister Rosie McLoughlin, died in 2013 after being treated at Alder Hey Hospital, after having a lifelong battle with Rett syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.
Coleen wrote: ‘Matching PJs ✔️, Family time ✔️, Making a real difference ✔️.
‘This year’s @alderhey_inspired x @shopmatalan PJs are finally here, and we couldn’t wait to get snug in ours.
‘With 100% of profits going directly to Alder Hey Children’s Charity, every pair helps create brighter futures for thousands of children.

It comes after Coleen paid a sweet tribute to her husband Wayne as he celebrated his 40th birthday last month.
Taking to Instagram, the WAG shared a love-up snap with the former England and Manchester United footballer as they beamed for the camera.
Alongside the post, she penned: ‘Happy 40th birthday @waynerooney …love you xxx’
Their son Kai also took to his Instagram Stories with a sweet snap next to his parents.
The family lived it up in Dubai as they celebrate Wayne’s big day.
‘Happy birthday dad,’ he wrote next to the photo with a red heart emoji.
Coleen’s post comes after Wayne insisted he would be dead if it wasn’t for his wife, who he says ‘saved’ him from alcoholism.
The former footballer opened up on just how bad his struggles became in a interview on former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand’s podcast.

In his early years, Wayne said all he wanted to do was go out and ‘enjoy my time with friends’, however, he said it got to a point ‘where I went too far’, which left him ‘struggling massively’.
He admitted: ‘I didn’t think I could turn to anyone. I didn’t really want to because I didn’t want to put that burden on anyone.’
Wayne recalled one incident where he ‘drank for two days straight’ before turning up for football training.
In a bid to conceal his problem from the rest of his team and manager, Wayne would use eye drops, chewing gum and aftershave to mask his two-day binge.
However, he explained: ‘Come training and at the weekend I’d scored two goals and then I’d go back and go and drink for two days straight again.’
In an emotional admission, Wayne praised his wife and mother of his four children Coleen, revealing: ‘I honestly believe if she weren’t there I’d be dead.’
He gushed: ‘Coleen is massive. It’s bad because we’re two kids from Croxteth and then we grew up together and obviously we started dating and we got married and have kids.
‘But when I was 17 she could see, she knew my mind and she knew I was a bit out there. You know, I loved my football, obsessed with football but also I loved a night out or whatever going out.
‘She’s seen it very early on and she’s controlled that. Well, not controlled but helped me control that massively.

‘And at times you’re like, “What are you doing? Why do you keep saying don’t do this or don’t do that?”
‘How she’s managed me because I needed managing.’
He continued to praise his wife, adding: ‘The best person and I’ve made mistakes in the past which are well documented and whatever, but I’m a little bit different at times and she keeps me on that path and she’s done it for 20-odd years.’
Coleen and Wayne met when they were just 12 years old in Liverpool and started dating when they were 16.
The couple married in Italy in 2008 and have four children together – Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six.
