Emilia Clarke has gushed about her celebrity crush.

The Game Of Thrones star, 39, revealed she not only loves Stormzy’s music, she’s also a huge fan of the man himself.

Speaking to the Daily Mail at last week’sĀ Global Gift GalaĀ at the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel in London, Emilia explained how her go-to pre-party tunes all come from Stormzy.

After finding out the Brit musician is single following his splits from on/off girlfriend Maya Jama and US singer Victoria Monet, Emilia gasped:Ā ‘I mean Mother may I?!Ā There you go, you can ship us, there we are!’

Emilia reportedly split from her boyfriend Sebastian ‘Bassi’ Fox in January, after four months together.

The star had first been spotted with the DJ on a night out back in November 2024, but it’s thought that after going public with their romance, they realised that something ‘wasn’t quite right’ and decided to end things.

Bassi found fame with dream-pop band Mt. Wolf – which previously featured in Clash Magazine’s Ones To Watch list.

Before then, Emilia was in a relationshipĀ  with director Charlie McDowell in 2019. He went on to marry Emily in Paris star Lily Collins in 2021.

Emilia has been focusing on both her acting and charity work in recent months, wrapping filming on two major TV series.Ā

Next year she’ll appear inĀ Amazon Prime Videoā€˜s adaptation of the Criminal graphic novels withĀ Charlie Hunnam. She’s also landed a lead role in the espionage thriller Ponies.

The actress is also kept busy with herĀ SameYou charity, which is on a mission to address the critical gap in brain injury care.

Emilia, who played fan-favorite Daenerys Targaryen on Game Of Thrones, suffered bleeds on her brain in 2011 and 2013, which she said left her ‘altered on a dramatic level.’

She first had a hemorrhage after the first season of Game Of Thrones finished filming, and lost her ability to speak as she nearly slipped into a coma.

The second one left her in need of surgery after scans showed it had doubled in size, and Emilia previously detailed that she is in a ‘really small minority’ of people who have survived and been left with ‘no repercussions.’

She now runs her charity with her motherĀ Jennifer Clarke, explaining:Ā ‘I’ve had two brain haemorrhages myself and my mum’s had two aneurysms – one of them has been treated.’

‘We know firsthand that the recovery available for people with brain injuries is so minimal compared to the demand.’

‘One in three people will get a brain injury in their lifetime and I think it is such a misunderstood condition that people like to shy away from so we are trying to shine a light on that and trying to allow people to feel safe and that they can recover.’

‘And working with my mum is hilarious. We’re incredibly close and no fight lasts more than three minutes – it’s there and then three minutes later we’re like “what you wearing tonight, what you going to watch tonight”, so yeah it’s very funny.’
