The long-awaited All Stars series kicked off on Monday with many fans left aghast by an explosive launch show twist.
For the first time in the show’s history, singletons from previous seasons returned to the villa as they continue their quest to find their dream partner.
And in true Love Island fashion the first episode has already seen plenty of drama in its first ever episode.
From exes Callum Jones and and Molly Smith both entering the villa as bombshells to Georgia S and Toby’s awkward run in as their history was revealed.

But they broke up just six months ago and had an awkward on-screen reunion when they both shockingly entered the South African villa during the All Stars launch.
Callum was revealed to be the first bombshell shaking things up in the villa directly after host Maya Jama coupled up the main line-up of former show legends.
However in an epic and very unexpected twist, Molly walked in directly after him as a second bombshell, leaving Callum completely stunned.
Upon her entrance, Callum was wide-eyed as Molly strutted her stuff through the doors, leaving the rest of the villa reeling at the very uncomfortable reunion.
Maya then explained that Callum would have a choice between stealing one of the girls from an existing couple, or coupling up with his ex-girlfriend Molly.
Molly was seen looking unimpressed and rolling her eyes at the prospect of Callum picking her with following their break-up, as the pair did not appear to be on good terms.
Reacting to the ‘savage’ twist, viewers were quick to take to social media to share their shock, with some admitting they didn’t even know the couple had split up.
They said: ‘When Callum walked in I thought ‘oh damn I need to check Mollys insta story after this’ …. THEN SHE WALKED IN;’

Before Molly’s shock entrance, Callum had told Maya that he had an ‘idea’ of who he wanted to couple up with as he stood smiling, keen to embark on his second Love Island journey.
In September, it emerged that Callum and Molly had gone their separate ways after three years together.
Callum moved out of their Manchester home following the break-up, with a source claiming that Molly had wanted to get engaged.
Insiders told The Sun at the time: ‘It’s really sad as they were a sweet couple together but it’s over – and has been for a few weeks.
‘They’re trying to stay friends – they were together for over three years – but it’s difficult. I think in the end, Molly wanted to get engaged and that didn’t happen.
‘Everyone was really surprised when they split as they were perfectly matched. He’s now moved out of the home they shared and they’ve split custody of their two dogs.’
Molly and Callum met on the first-ever winter edition of the ITV dating show in 2020, where they left before the finale.
The couple moved into a lavish four-bedroom house in Manchester that November after meeting on the show.

Toby Aromolaran was chosen to be coupled up with Georgia Steele, with the pair’s history coming as a shock to fans earlier in the episode.

Yet there wasn’t too much time to talk as later that night, Maya re-entered the Villa to gather the Islanders by the pool.
She revealed: ‘Girls earlier today I asked you to reveal who you fancy the most but the decision of who you will couple up with is actually in the hands of the public.
‘Are you ready to find out who they have chosen for you? Let’s do this!’
The couple were left stunned to discover they had been paired up and quickly shot down any idea of rekindling the romance when asked by host Maya Jama.
Meanwhile, Love Island fans were left fuming after the exes were coupled up following a vote by viewers, branding it ‘messy’.
Fans had already pleaded with the beauty to ‘stay away’ from her former flame as they endured an awkward reunion earlier in the episode.

I’m now a mummy, my four year old son Reggie. People think I’m dead high maintenance but I just like to go out for a pint.’
On what she’s looking for in a man, she said: ‘They just need to have a cool vibe on. The last guy I had a crush on he just ghosted me.’
But Love Island All Stars viewers were left shocked by Hannah’s unrecognisable appearance as she made her epic return.

Anton recently revealed why he always uses breath spray as he sat down with his mum while discussing his original stint on the show.
He said: ‘I always used to eat chewing gum but we found out we weren’t allowed it on the show because obviously it’s messy, it looks bad on camera etc. You recommended that.’
His mum added: ‘You can’t beat the breath spray before you go in for the kiss.’

Anton’s confirmation was less of a surprise than others, after he sparked speculation of his Love Island return by taking to Instagram to post a snap of himself with suitcases at the airport, which was deleted quickly after.

I’ll be honest, I don’t really plan on being ‘Messy Mitch’. It just depends on what day of the week it is. I wear my emotions on my sleeve and what you see is what you get.
