The Apprentice stars Michaela Wain and Harrison Jones have announced they are engaged, eight years after they met while competing on the popular BBC show.
Harrison, 35, took to Instagram on Monday to share the news he had popped the question to Michaela, 41, while on a romantic trip to Tokyo, Japan.
Alongside he shared a slew of photos documenting their love story together, from meeting on series 13 back in 2017 to welcoming the first Apprentice baby, with the arrival of son Grayson the following year.
Captioning the heartfelt post, he wrote: ‘From meeting in the most unique, once in a lifetime way, to becoming a dad to the most amazing little boy, starting a family, and getting engaged in Tokyo, it’s been a pretty nuts journey, so far’.
While Michaela took to her own Instagram to show off her dazzling diamond ring and glimpse at the romantic proposal, which saw Harrison write out the words ‘Will you marry me?’ on a bed, amongst rose petals and glittering lights.
She gushed in the caption: ‘Tokyo now has a special place in my heart ❤️’.

The couple were flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and friends, including some of their Apprentice 2017 co-stars.
One of the joint winners of the season, James White penned: ‘Congrats both! Amazing news.’
While fellow joint winner Sarah gushed: ‘The best news. You might have even beaten me in The Apprentice if all your decisions had been this good H. Love you xx’.
Candidate Jade English wrote: Congrats guys!!! So crazy thinking back to us in that apprentice house and how you have your forevers and baby from it! (heart emoji)’ while co-star Joanna Jarjue added: ‘Love you guys’.
And Michaela’s brother and Love Island star Joshua Ritchie wrote: ‘Congrats’ with a slew of clapping emojis.
Michaela also announced the engagement on her LinkedIn, poking fun at her firing by Lord Alan Sugar in the semi-finals, by quipping that ‘someone finally hired me’.
In 2023, the businessman opened up about falling for Harrison, as she admitted that she’d never dreamed she would meet the love of her life on the show.
She said: ‘Not in my wildest dreams did I think I’d meet my partner on The Apprentice. My brother’s always saying he went on Love Island and I ended up finding somebody while I were in The Apprentice!

‘But even when we were there, it was nothing like that. We were genuinely friends. It was after we’d come off the show, you have a three-month gap before it goes on TV.
‘You’ve just had this whirlwind experience and nobody knows about it, so we remained friendly because otherwise you do your family’s head in talking about it, and then when it came on TV we all wanted to be with each other and watch it all together.
‘And we were allowed to drink alcohol then – which is when me and Harrison grew closer!’

Romance blossomed for the pair following their time together on The Apprentice last year, where Michaela had finished in third place and Harrison had been eliminated the week before.
The couple have since gone on to launch their own company within the construction industry.
News of their relationship first surfaced as the 13 series was airing, with reports at the time claiming the duo were forced to ‘keep their romance a secret for weeks’.
A source told The Sun: ‘There was always a connection between them but they tried to resist their urges during filming. They’re now in a fully-fledged relationship and have been spending a lot of time together.
