Love Island is continuing with a major format change for the first episode of its anticipated All Stars series.
For last summer’s series, the ITV2 show gave viewers the power, allowing them to pick which Islanders would couple up in the first episode.
And the twist is back for the All Stars series which kicks off on January 15.
Fans will be able to get involved in the show right from the beginning and decide who will couple up on day one, before the Islanders get to choose matches themselves.
Voting is open from 8am on Thursday January 11 and free via the Love Island App. Fans can only vote once and have until 9pm on Friday evening to have their say.

After the format change was introduced last year, viewers admitted to being confused as they had no idea they could vote.
Fans caused a storm on social media as they complained the public was not informed to vote on the ITV2 show.
The cast of Love Island All Stars was announced on Monday and exes Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish are set to come face-to-face for an on-screen reunion on the show.
Liberty, 24, and Jake, 26, were originally favourites to win the seventh series of Love Island, but broke up and quit the show just days before the final after Movie Night revelations rocked their romance.
Upon her All Stars casting, Liberty admitted it might be ‘awkward’ coming across an ex-boyfriend in the South African villa, ahead of her face-to-face reunion with Jake.
They are not the only exes set to reunite as Toby Aromolaran and Kaz Kamwi – who were a couple on the show in 2021 before he moved on with Chloe Burrows – are both returning to Love Island for a second chance at love.
Other show legends heading back to the iconic Love Island villa include Georgia Harrison – who has her eye on Barbie star Chris Taylor, Hannah Elizabeth, Demi Jones and Luis Morrison.
Meanwhile, Tom Clare is said to be ‘in talks’ to enter as a second bombshell after he was spotted making his way to the South African villa earlier this week.

There’s another major format shakeup in store as spin-off show Aftersun will not air, meaning host Maya Jama will stay out in South Africa for the show’s entirety rather than having to jet back to London.
Maya said of the shake-up: ‘I’m doing interviews as soon as they leave… with this new exit interview format, I feel like you’ll get the raw emotion.’
‘I’m really excited about that actually’.
