Married At First Sight UK’s Georges Berthonneau has admitted he had eyes for another bride while filming the show despite being coupled-up with Peggy Rose.
While Georges insists he was happy to have been paired with Peggy by the experts, there is another of the show’s contestants he got on very well with – and they have history.
He told new! magazine: ‘Peggy’s beautiful and, actually, I wouldn’t have gone with anyone else. But if you put a gun to my head, I’d have picked Ella.
‘We’d have got on like a house on fire. Ella and I spoke throughout. She’s a hoot.
‘We have a very similar sense of humour – very inappropriate, very outspoken, very outrageous.’

It comes after Georges said he met Ella years ago when he lived in Bristol, where Ella was working as a dancer.
He told the Divorced! Beheaded! THRIVED! podcast: ‘I actually knew Ella from five years ago when I lived in Bristol. I think we originally met in a club… I’m not sure. Or we ended up sliding into each other’s DMs once upon a time. Years ago.
‘We were going to go for a drink, we never did. And then, obviously, Ella was a dancer and I bumped into her a couple of times at the bar.’
Georges continued: ‘Seriously, I never get dances. But yes, she was in there and we used to have a good laugh.’
It comes after Ella was dramatically given the boot from the show during Monday’s episode.
She returned as a single woman after her split from former groom Nathanial Valentino who left the process, which sees couples marry after meeting for the first time at the altar, following the revelation that Ella and Bianca Petronzi’s husband JJ Slater had been unfaithful.
Transgender contestant Ella and JJ had re-entered the experiment as a couple after cheating on their spouses.
Bianca had her say in the instalment as she unleashed her tongue and dished out her honest opinion of both JJ and Ella before ceremoniously quitting the series.

When asked by the experts what she wanted to say to JJ, Bianca said: ‘I didn’t really feel like he even let me in. I felt like even from the wedding day there was a wall and I think he asked for a different type of person but I don’t think he actually wanted a different type.
‘He still wanted what he’s going back to which is someone like Ella.’
Turning to JJ she asked: ‘If you knew you was going to go back to your original type, why bother asking for someone different?’
JJ responded: ‘I didn’t know that, I didn’t know. I can’t help how I feel.’
Bianca spat back: ‘I feel like you’re just thinking with your d**k.’
Muttering under her breath, Ella said: ‘No he isn’t,’ before saying out loud: ‘I said I’m going to get to know him outside of this, Bianca.’

A furious Bianca replied: ‘I don’t want to speak to you right now because I feel like whatever you’ve got to say is irrelevant to me currently.
‘I’m hurt, clearly, and I feel like what you’ve done is disrespectful.
‘I just deserve so much f**king better and I’m done.’
Both Bianca and JJ decided to drop out of the experiment, with Ella having already been told she could not stay as a single person.
It followed the end of JJ’s marriage to wife Bianca after she gave up on their romance when he failed to show her any interest.
Viewers recently saw sparks begin to fly between Ella and JJ, who both chose each other as the person they would like to kiss aside from their partner.

The couple had not even kissed, including on their honeymoon, with the clothing brand owner insisting he wanted to take a new approach on the show to his usual dating style.
He said: ‘My normal type is slightly different to Bianca… it’s been like girls that have had a lot of work done and they kind of all look the same. In this experiment I wanted something deeper and more emotional.’
