‘Hold on. Sike, sike, sike, sike,’ the 41-year-old hip-hop icon said in a video uploaded Monday by TikTok user @raptherapth.
‘I don’t perform that song no more, y’all.’
When the crowd responded with audible disappointment, Nicki (born Onika Maraj) clapped back: ‘I don’t like it. What y’all want me to do? It’s a stupid song!’
In the comments of the TikTok post, fans expressed their worries for Minaj’s upcoming tour and pointed out how Starships was ‘still paying her bills’ because it’s a ‘fan favorite.’

The 12-time Grammy nominee co-wrote Starships (off her second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded) with Nadir Khayat, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, Bilal Hajji, and Wayne Hector and it went on to reach No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
And while Nicki did perform her 2010 hit Super Bass and her 2023 hit FTCU during her midnight set, she has historically never been a fan of Starships.
‘I hate Starships. I mean ew, Starships,’ Minaj lamented to Genius.com in 2020.
‘I’m like, “Why did I do that?” I really think that every time I hear it.’
The Big Difference star continued: ‘I wish I never recorded Anaconda. I like the video but ugh! My first ever solo song on Billboard was Your Love. To this day I like the video but I hate the song. I could go on and on.’
Nicki showcased her curvaceous 5ft2in figure in head-to-toe Alaïa – a black off-the-shoulder mesh catsuit and studded peep-toe booties.
