Tess Daly’s fans have called for her lookalike daughter Phoebe to replace her on Strictly Come Dancing.
The presenter, 56, announced earlier this month that she and Claudia Winkelman are stepping down from hosting the BBC dancing show at the end of this series.
And now her fans claim to have found the perfect replacement, her daughter Phoebe.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Tess shared a snap of her and Phoebe – who she shares with husband Vernon Kay – at the Strictly studios.
Tess revealed that Phoebe, who recently turned 21, has been coming to watch her present Strictly for her entire life – as the show began in 2004, the year she was born.
In the snap, Tess was seen wearing the black velvet ruched mini-dress she’d worn for Strictly’s Halloween week.

Meanwhile Phoebe opted for a burgundy midi-dress featuring sequined fabric and spaghetti straps.
‘Such a treat having you at the show last night @phoebeekay can’t believe you’ve been coming for 21 years; your entire life,’ Tess wrote.
And taking to the comments, her fans thought Phoebe would be the best person to take on the presenting role after her mother leaves.
They wrote: ‘Isn’t she the right person to take over from you if she’s been watching you for 21 years ❤️,’;
‘@tessdaly could you imagine how cool it would be if @phoebeekay hosted @bbcstrictly next ❤️ daughter following mom footsteps ❤️,’;
‘Maybe she can replace tess?’; ‘@tessdaly is this your replacement??’; ‘Looks like the presenter for SCD!’; ‘New presenter?’
Phoebe, who celebrated her 21st birthday last month, is a film production student who splits her time between London and Dubai.
It’s not only Phoebe’s mum Tess who works in the world of showbiz – dad Vernon Kay presented a host of television programmes throughout the early 2000s and is now a BBC Radio 2 host.

She appears to be a natural at handling her growing celebrity status – as the jet-setting university student juggles her studies with red carpet appearances, and glamorous family holidays.
But Phoebe previously admitted she would rather work behind the camera and leave presenting to her parents, explaining: ‘I like the production and editing side.
‘I’d love to act, but will leave presenting to my mum and dad. I’m just trying to understand what I want to do.
‘I think you go to uni to figure out what you want to do in life. I’d like to do some work experience, as it’s hands-on, even if I start as a runner and work my way up.’
Her parents felt it was best to keep Phoebe and her younger sister, Amber, now 15, shielded from the celebrity world until they could decide whether they ‘wanted to be in the spotlight or not’, Vernon added.
‘Phoebe is very mature,’ he continued. ‘I’ve got confidence she will know how to deal with it.’
Vernon took to social media last month as he wished his 21-year-old daughter a Happy Birthday – and she looked just like Tess’s double.

Proud dad Vernon gushed: ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY @phoebekay 21 Today!! The celebrations are gonna be epic!! You’re the best any parent could ask for.’
Phoebe has also taken on the role as an influencer as she documents her enviable lifestyle to a steadily rising follower base.
She made her red carpet debut much later than other nepo babies – waiting until 2023 when she attended the movie premiere of John Wick Chapter 4 in London’s Leicester Square.
Phoebe, then 18, looked stylish in a white draped shirt with a pair of shiny black pleather trousers as she walked arm-in-arm with her father, Vernon.
