Harry Garside has opened up about his new life following his split from his girlfriend Sonny earlier this year.
The Australian boxing legend, 28, exclusively told Daily Mail at Derby Day in Melbourne on Saturday that he is still single.
When asked if he was still dating her, the boxer simply replied ‘no’, but clarified there was no bad blood between them, adding: ‘She’s a legend’.
The Melbourne-born athlete then revealed how he keeps himself busy these days – and hinted at when fans could expect to see him back in the ring.
‘I’ve been enjoying the rollercoaster of life. I’m hoping to have a fight early next year, maybe January or February. Just enjoying life right now,’ Harry said.
Harry also revealed whether he is currently looking for a new relationship.

‘I’m not really looking for anything right now, just having fun with the boys,’ he said.
In November last year, Harry debuted his romance with Sonny at the Melbourne Cup, revealing they had met at a New Year’s Eve party.
In August 2024, he revealed he had met somebody new and fallen in love, but her identity wasn’t revealed until the races.
At the time, Harry and his then-partner Sonny spoke to Daily Mail exclusively from Flemington.
Sydneysider Sonny, 22, works in PR and said she met the boxer at a party.
‘And I took her out on a date two weeks later,’ he added.
The Aussie boxer explained he was very happy with the new relationship and was still interested in pursuing boxing.
‘I think I’ll definitely still box – I’ve still got the fire in my belly, but nothing locked in until next year,’ he said.

The boxer made headlines when he was dramatically arrested at Sydney Airport in 2023 as he returned home after appearing on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in South Africa.
He was accused of assaulting ex-girlfriend Ash Ruscoe, which he firmly denied, and police later dropped the charges after his legal team produced video evidence they said showed his ex was the alleged aggressor.
Harry later said the court case ordeal was the ‘best thing that ever happened’ to him.
‘The way it happened and what I was getting accused of was just so heavy. I look back now and realise it was the best thing that ever happened to me,’ he told The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show.
‘It was just like the time in my life where I actually had to step up for myself and become my own friend and have my own back.’
He added that at a particularly low point during the ordeal, he began collecting ‘evidence’ about why he was a good person, which significantly boosted his morale.
Harry said he never would have been prompted to do so if he didn’t go through the challenging ordeal, which he said helped him become a better person.
