Katy Perry Consults Claircognizance Psychic for Romance with Justin Trudeau

Katy Perry wants to make sure that her new romance with Justin Trudeau goes as smoothly as possible.

The 41-year-old pop star – who strongly believes in the power of prayer – has been leaning on some of her pals for advice to keep the union flying high, Daily Mail has learned.

One of the experts she is using is a ‘claircognizance psychic’ to guide her when dealing with the ‘love of her life’ Trudeau, a source has shared.

A ‘claircognizance psychic’ is someone who has the ability to know things intuitively.

‘Katy is fascinated by psychic power, so why not harness it?’ the pal shared. ‘In the past psychics have worked very well for her. So she is leaning on this wonderful energy to give her an advantage with Justin because he matters a lot to her.

‘She is really in love with him and thinks he is The One so she is being careful with how she treats him. The psychic is guiding her.’

Perry went public with her new relationship with the ex-Canadian Prime Minister, 53, at the weekend during a date in Paris. 

In the past Perry has said she ‘cast a spell’ to find Orlando Bloom, whom she broke up with this year, and she was very keen when a contestant on American Idol told her she psychically knew Bloom was her ‘soulmate.’ 

The source noted that Perry uses other ways to gain information.

The insider also noted that Perry is also into ‘psychics, numerology, angel numbers, past life healers and Tarot cards.’

‘She’s very into astrology,’ the same source earlier told the Mail. ‘Katy said he is a solid guy and she loves that he is an earth sign, a Capricorn.’

The pal added: ‘She is a Scorpio, like a total typical Scorpio, so she is very driven and headstrong. So she likes having an earth sign as a boyfriend because it grounds her.’

The source also shared: ‘Justin is just the man for her. He fits her needs. She is thrilled.’

‘Orlando is also a Capricorn, that is why she was drawn to him initially, she loves a good Cap,’ noted the pal. 

Capricorns are born between December 22 and January 19.  Scorpios have birthdays are between October 23 to November 21. 

And Perry has told pals she already may have met Trudeau in a past life. 

‘Katy believes in past lives and she thinks she and Justin may have intersected in some way in a past life,’ said the pal. ‘Why not?’

While their romance might be new, the insider noted the relationship is already serious.

‘There is no way she would go public with him unless it was a mega big deal,’ the friend said. ‘Yes, it is a mega big deal with Justin. Katy is very in love with Justin.’

And the couple are already planning to see more of each other next month while she continues her Lifetimes Tour.

‘She wants him to meet her in Paris and Barcelona for her tour stops next month so they can have a romantic time when she’s not on stage,’ the same source said.

Perry will also be in Japan and the United Arab Emirates in December. 

Perry first teased romance with Trudeau earlier this month at a concert at London’s The O2.

A fan jokingly proposed to her at the show, and she laughed and said: ‘I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago.’

She also joked about no longer falling for English men. Speaking to her fans, she said: ‘London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school?

‘No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore.’

Perry was famously married to Brit Russell Brand — a Gemini — and has also dated John Mayer, Diplo and Robert Ackroyd, as well as actor Johnny Lewis.

Trudeau served as the 23rd Prime Minister of Canada from 2015 until 2025, when he was ousted from office after a decade in power.

He led the Liberal Party from 2013 until stepping down following his election defeat in 2025.

He was married to 50-year-old Sophie Grégoire — a Pisces — for 18 years before the pair separated in 2023.
