The Golden Bachelor’s Lauren certainly turned a few heads on the dating series this week.
The 60-year-old was chosen by Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden to take part in a horse-riding group date, alongside fellow hopefuls, Bianca, Katrina, Laura, Terri, and Kim.
Wanting to stand out from the pack, part-way through the riding trip, Lauren removed her top to reveal a skimpy bikini.
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle about her daring display, Lauren said that she was ‘happy’ to challenge preconceived notions of how women in their 60s should dress and behave.
The dressage team manager added that wearing such attire while riding came quite naturally to her, as it was something she had done all her life.
‘As a young girl, I used to go horse-riding in my bikini all day down by the river, so it just brought back those fond girl memories,’ she said.

Lauren said that it was ‘lovely in the sun’ as she enjoyed her horseback ride, adding that her skimpy attire remained firmly on for the entire date.
‘I know there were rumours that it came off, but it was still on,’ she said.
In the episode, which aired on Monday night, Lauren did not take kindly to Kim gaining an advantage on the date.
‘Kim’s got the young horse who happens to be the leader of the pack so, guess what? She’s off with the Bear,’ she said.
Lauren then revealed her risqué plan to wrestle Bear’s attention away from the other ladies.
‘My plan to get his attention – I’ve got my bikinis on underneath, I’m going to take my top off and see if I can get his attention.’
Lauren’s busty display did certainly catch Bear’s eye, with the hunky Bachelor telling producers: ‘I very much appreciate Lauren’s enthusiasm – I think a few of the locals did, as well.’
The ladies also praised Lauren’s daring act, with Katrina admitting: ‘It takes confidence. Not every girl can get on a horse in a bikini top.’

While impressed with Lauren’s enthusiasm, it seemed that Bear only had eyes for Bianca on the group date.
The pair retired to a romantic campfire setting where the affable radio host showed her vulnerable side.
‘I’ve used humour to deflect my whole life. I’ve been told I’m too much by a few people who meant a lot to me in the past,’ Bianca revealed.
‘I’ve done it for so long it’s like a default. Being vulnerable with Bear literally terrifies me. What if he doesn’t like what he sees?’
She let her walls down when Bear asked her if she had children, with the radio star admitting to an unsuccessful decade-long IVF battle.
‘I did IVF…it was crazy,’ she told Bear. ‘It was, like, maybe ten years on and off and I didn’t end up having any kids.
‘I’ve shut the door, but it hurts.’
Bianca doubled down on the sentiment as she spoke to producers, adding: ‘There’s been a lot of heartbreak in my life.
‘As a young girl, I used to go horse-riding in my bikini all day down by the river, so it just brought back those fond girl memories,’ she said

‘I had relationships break down because I tried to have a baby so desperately.
‘We spend all of our youth thinking we’ve got so much time. There’s sort of this age that you hit where you’re like I’m on the other side and time is running out.’
Clearly taken with Bianca’s display of vulnerability, Bear surprised the blonde beauty with a rose, admitting that she was ‘special.’
‘Our conversation went quite deep, but it was really nice to see the real Bianca,’ Bear said.
‘She’s been through a hell of a lot in her life…but she’s got a beautiful heart.’
