David Beckham has quickly killed off Rebekah Vardy’s hope that her husband Jamie might move to Miami to play football.
The WAG set the internet ablaze with speculation over her husband Jamie’s, 38, next club after a playful social media post on Tuesday.
Leaving Leicester City after a 13 year stint, the question as to where he and his family might go next has been the question on everyone’s lips.
Just days ago Rebekah, 43, posted an image of three of their children wearing each of Inter Miami’s kits on Instagram.
But now sources close to Beckham’s club, which he has co-owned since 2018, have said Jamie is not being offered a place at Inter Miami.
‘There is absolutely no way Vardy is joining the MLS outfit,’ they said.

The new comments are thought to have shattered Rebekah’s dreams of moving to the Florida coast as she was hoping to follow in Posh and Beck’s footsteps (pictured in May 2025)

‘No one at inter Miami will have heard of him, they just signed Rodrigo de Paul who won the World Cup with Argentina.
‘They don’t sign people at the end of their career. It was nice of them to buy the kits though.
Rebekah’s post had many convinced that the England international was set to join a star-studded roster led by Lionel Messi, that includes his former Barcelona team-mates Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, as well as his Argentina colleague Rodrigo De Paul.
Last month the Mail revealed Rebekah’s hopes of moving to the coastal city.
Sources said it would be a ‘perfect ending’ for Rebekah – meaning she would get to rub shoulders with the real Posh and Becks as well as other members of football’s A list.
It’s know that the Beckham’s are a couple who very much value their privacy.
Rebekah on the other hand has been known in recent years for leaking stories about her fellow WAGS: her humiliating, and costly, 2022 High Court showdown with Coleen came after the latter laid a trap to expose her as the source of several personal stories in the press. Vardy sued for libel – and lost, leaving her with legal bill of around £3 million.

David and Victoria Beckham paid for their £55.6 million Miami mega mansion in cash last year – breaking records being the ‘highest sale ever’ in the area
A friend of the Vardys told the Mail: ‘There are loads of whispers in football about where Jamie might end up next – there is talk of one of the showier Championship clubs like Birmingham City or Wrexham or even Glasgow Rangers but that really wouldn’t cut it for Becky.
‘Miami is much more glamorous, they often holiday there, and look at what it has done for the Beckhams. Getting big in the US has turned them into global stars. If Jamie could engineer a move to Inter Miami then Becky would be absolutely delighted. Imagine the life that would give her.
‘She’s obsessed with the idea of moving in the same circles as Victoria and David. She sees herself as a natural fit: glamorous, bold, headline-grabbing – and she knows America could have a lot of commercial opportunities unlike places like Saudi Arabia.
‘They went to the Middle East to check it out but it’s not really what she’s looking for, even for big money. You can just see her enjoying the whole lifestyle out in the States.’
Late last year the David and Victoria Beckham broke records after they purchased a £60,000,000 Miami mansion.
Now with the family spending a lot of their time there, the Beckham’s upgraded from their former £15million Florida home which they bought in 2020.
Former England captain Beckham exercised an option in his contract with his former Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy to buy an expansion franchise in 2014.
He launched the team in Miami in 2018, before confirming it would be called Club Internacional de Futbol Miami, or Inter Miami CF. It made its MLS debut in 2020.
The former Manchester United midfielder finished his playing career in 2013 with 718 appearances, 127 goals and 214 assists.
He played 115 times for England and is now worth a whopping £455 million.
