MAFS Star Nasser Sultan Smiles with FHM Models at Halloween Party After Split

Nasser Sultan isn’t letting his recent break-up with Karla Grant get him down.

The former Married At First Sight star was spotted at the FHM Woman Of The Year party on Thursday cosying up to six stunning models in the wake of his high-profile split announcement.

He sported a giant smile on his face as he posed on the red carpet outside The Dawson in Sydney while flanked by blonde bombshells in red catsuits.

In the Halloween spirit, Nasser wore a floral shirt paired with a cross necklace, keeping comfy in a pair of matching red sneakers.

The 58-year-old folded his arms and smiled for the camera as the FHM models towered over him in their skyscraper heels.

It comes after news broke of Nasser’s short-lived romance with Walkley-winning journalist and respected SBS presenter Karla.

They ended their whirlwind romance in September, after around eight months together.

Nasser confirmed the split to the Daily Mail, after a source tipped us off.

‘Yes we’ve [broken up] unfortunately, but remain friends,’ he said.

‘Sometimes opposites don’t attract. We had a great time but unfortunately we are on different paths. She is a lovely woman.’

Karla and Nasser were last pictured together at Damien Warren-Smith’s Classic Penguins show in Sydney on September 3.

Before that, they were joined at the hip on several red carpets, and Nasser was even on SBS’s table at the Kennedy Awards for excellence in journalism on August 15.

The couple’s relationship became public knowledge in February when Daily Mail exclusively reported how media insiders were ‘baffled’ by the unlikely match.

‘We’ve known each other for four years, to be honest,’ Nasser said at the time.

‘Then we just reconnected at a Maxim party and fell in love. That was it. It was like love at first sight – just not Married At First Sight!’

‘She’s gentle, smart, elegant, very well-educated, respected in the industry. And she’s not fake. And she’s not on Instagram.’

Indeed, while Nasser has courted publicity since his appearance on MAFS in 2018, Karla is known for her work as a presenter, producer and journalist for SBS’s national Indigenous current affairs program Living Black.

She is career-focused and rarely uses social media.

The vast differences between the two were not lost on Nasser, who told us in February they were ‘a bit like chalk and cheese’.

‘I love the red carpet. She’s a bit more subdued. But she’s just so kind and so generous and lets me do what I do – crazy!’ he said.
