Paul Bettany and his wife Jennifer Connelly put on a loved-up display as they attended the opening night of Broadway’s Liberation in NYC on Tuesday.
The actor and actress, both 54, appeared in good spirits as they held hands on the red carpet while posing on the red carpet.
Jennifer put on a leggy display in a black leather mini skirt teamed with a matching jacket.
She added a simple black fitted turtleneck top and added inches to her slender frame with a pair of chunky heels.
Meanwhile, Paul opted for a smart navy blue suit layered over a blue and red knitted vest.
Paul was 15 years old when he saw teenage actress Jennifer in the classic movie Once Upon a Time in America – which was her first film role.

The pair eventually met face to face 14 years later on the set of A Beautiful Mind in 2000.
Paul remembered his attraction to his future wife was ‘instant’ as he told Entertainment Tonight: ‘I’ve never been this close to someone that beautiful before. I remember thinking, “I bet every man you ever met has tried to flirt with you”.’
According to the publication, he proposed to her before ‘before they even dated’ and joined her in NYC, where they’ve lived together since.
Speaking with People early in 2021, Paul also discussed his home life with his wife and kids as he gave a rare insight into their family.
He gushed: ‘Marriage and children changed my life. It really altered who I was and what I saw as my goals.’
They wed on January 1, 2003, in Scotland.
They welcomed two children together: Stellan, now 22, and Agnes, now 14.

Jennifer was previously married to David Dugan – and they welcomed son Kai, now 28.
Jennifer has previously spoken out about becoming a mother and how that has changed her.
‘Becoming a mother has made all the difference in terms of learning to take more responsibility for myself and my life,’ she told Anderson Cooper on Anderson Live in June 2012, via People magazine.
‘Parenthood changed the way I do everything,’ she said.
‘The biggest thing for me is wanting my kids to grow up safely and have happy lives. To me, that’s enough.’
