James Courtney, Supercars driver, celebrates the holidays with his family in matching themed pyjamas

James Courtney is getting into the Christmas spirit with his wife Tegan and their three children.

The Supercars driver, 43, took to Instagram on Thursday to share an adorable gallery of festive family photos with his fans.

One hilarious picture captures James, Tegan and their three young children Zara, Cadel and Kobe posing up a storm in their living room in matching Christmas-themed pajamas.

Another shows the Courtney family beaming from ear to ear as they have their photo taken with Santa.

He carefully hugs his daughter Zara, who sits in his lap, and the family are all smiles in the heartwarming festive photos.

James and Tegan captioned the carousel of images with some hilarious words.

‘The annual Courtney Christmas photo… Not sure how much longer we’ll be able to convince Zara and Cadel to do these photos with us.’

James and Tegan eloped in September 2022, and welcomed their first child together in October, a baby boy named Kobe. 

He shares his two older children with his first wife, Carys Hughes. 

It follows the newlyweds admitting even their closest friends had no idea they wed in secret until they announced their marriage on Instagram.

They exchanged vows in front of just a handful of people, including Tegan’s mother, James’ parents and his two children from his previous marriage.

‘We kept it quiet for a while then it started being not so quiet so I thought we better say something. It was just us two, the kids Zara and Cadel, my parents and Tegan’s mum,’ James told News.com.au.

Before dating Tegan, James enjoyed a short-lived romance Kyly Clarke, the ex-wife of retired Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke.

Kyly and James actually first met when they were children, before they later got back in contact via social media when their respective marriages ended. 

It’s believed they ended their romance in December 2020.
