Michael McIntyre has admitted he has resorted to passive-aggressive measures to deal with his loud neighbours.
The comedian, 49, owns a £10million home in Hampstead but some of the locals have bothered him by blasting loud music.
‘I have had a little thing with them [neighbours] already when they played very loud music in the garden and I did not want to complain,’ he told a Soho Theatre audience during a warm-up gig for his forthcoming Hello America! tour in the US.
‘I played the same song they were playing at a slightly different time just to f*** them off. It is a good idea.
‘This is what British people do. They will try to deal with s*** without confrontation.’
Along with Hampstead pad, Michael also owns a country mansion in Wiltshire he bought for £2.5million in 2013.

The comic recently revealed he has begun taking weight loss jabs, after doctors warned him that he was obese.
The presenter admitted he had been reluctant to take the medication initially, but that his wife Kitty had insisted following the diagnosis.
The Wheel star – whose weight has fluctuated over the years – explained he began with Ozempic, before switching over to a course of Mounjaro and had already shed the pounds just three weeks in.
Speaking to an audience at a London show, Michael candidly admitted that he’d weighed 100kg (15st 10lbs), prior to starting the jabs, as he proudly showed off his slimmer frame.
In quotes obtained by The Sun, he quipped: ‘Have you noticed how tiny I am? I have lost weight. Don’t applaud it because there is a little bit of cheating that has gone on.’
Recalling his visit to his GP, he went on: ‘The doctor told me I weighed 100kg. He told me I was “obese”. How rude. He said, “It’s a medical term”.’
According to the NHS, for most adults if your BMI is between 30 to 39.9 then you are medically obese, while higher than 40 means morbidly obese.
Michael insisted that his weight gain was the result of him eating the leftovers of his and Kitty’s two sons, Lucas, 20, and Oscar, 18.

And he confessed that while the appetite surpressent medication was working well for him so far, he predicted that his success would ‘fall apart’ if he gave into his sweet tooth again.
Mounjaro – the brand name for tirzepatide – has become one of the most talked-about ‘fat jabs’ alongside Ozempic and Wegovy in a wave of injectable appetite suppressants.
The medication mimics the naturally occurring GLP-1 hormone, which helps lower blood sugar and can increase feelings of fullness.
While invented to treat diabetes, the injections have soared in popularity in recent years as a means to shed some pounds, particularly among the rich and famous including Oprah Winfrey, Sharon Osbourne, and Elon Musk.
