Big Brother’s Zak alleges housemates are becoming aware of Kerry’s ‘manipulative tactics’ following her unsettling experience with public disapproval, while also addressing the controversy of being labeled ‘sexist’ amid accusations of misogyny.

Big Brother’s Zak claims his fellow former housemates are wising up to contestant Kerry as he insists she’s ‘playing a game’ on the show.

Model Zak, 28, was the second person to be evicted from the house on Friday and he has since criticised NHS manager Kerry’s behaviour, claiming she doesn’t know how to take responsibility for her own actions and is blaming her faults on other people.

Kerry, 40, and the rest of the house residents were left shocked last week when they heard the live eviction crowd chanting for her to be given the boot from the ITV show next.

And Zak has now told MailOnline he sees through Kerry’s apparent game-playing.

On hearing the boos for Kerry before he was evicted, Zak said: ‘I weren’t that surprised to be fair because I feel like a lot of people are catching on to what type of person she is.

‘Don’t get me wrong, she’s a really lovely woman, we’ve has some really nice chats and deep down I know that there’s a decent woman down there but I feel like it is a game show, she is playing a game, and I feel like when she’s done something wrong she just doesn’t know how to own up to her own faults and she tries to blame it on other people.

‘I feel like that’s not a good game to play.’

Meanwhile, Zak defended himself after he became caught up in a misogyny row over comments he made to fellow housemates Trish and Olivia.

He was branded ‘sexist’ during the spat but he insists he was simply winding both Trish and Olivia up as he was bored.

The war of words occurred when Olivia pointed out how much Zak was eating after he complained about how much food some other housemates were consuming after they failed their shopping budget and were given limited funds to buy in new items.

Attempting to defend the amount he was eating, Zak simply put it down to him being a ‘boy’.

As Dylan laughed at Zak’s comment, Trish was left fuming, prompting Zak to joke: ‘My man ain’t going to stand there and take s**t off two women.’

Olivia warned: ‘Behave yourself.’

And Trish hit back: ‘That was very inappropriate. That was so sexist, that was sexism thriving in you.’

But Zak insists he didn’t mean any harm with his remarks, telling MailOnline: ‘A lot of things that I say in there, a lot of small things and minor things can be taken out of context.

‘Just to make it clear, I love women, I’ve been raised by women, I respect women more than anything but I just like to have a little laugh when I get bored and there’s not much to do I start to like to wind people up and I knew they were biting so I just kept throwing them a bit of a nibble just to wind them up more and more and more.

‘But deep in there, you can speak to Trish when she comes out. She’ll say, “Me and Zak were like brothers”.

‘It was just minor banter and it just got taken out of context. That’s all it was, I was just having a laugh.’

Elsewhere, Zak attempted to put any rumours of a romance between him and fellow housemate Noky to bed once and for all, insisting he only has eyes for his girlfriend.

He said: ‘There was a lot of times when me and Noky had a little laugh and a little flirt but I’m like that with everyone, I’m just a friendly guy.

‘Believe it or not, me and Trish had a lot more laughs, they just didn’t show it.

‘I just feel like she’s “Miss Pageant”, I’m the model so it kind of created that scenario of these two should be together.

‘A lot of people are interested in it. It’s all over TikTok. If you type in Zak and Noky, it’s everywhere.

‘But I just want to make it clear I’ve got a girlfriend, I love my girlfriend and Noky was just like my little sister in there but as soon as I mention sister or I talk about my girlfriend, they just cut it out so you didn’t see that side of things.

‘Just to be clear, I’m taken. Sorry girls!’

Big Brother continues on tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

TRISH

FROM: Luton

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE PRIZE MONEY IF YOU WON? ‘I think my first priority is to sort out my housing situation. The housing crisis is just ridiculous and my housing situation has been unstable. It brings me a lot of mum guilt because I’ve got a young child. It’s my biggest incentive and motivation to win.’

JORDAN

AGE: 25

PROFESSION: Lawyer

FROM: Scunthorpe

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR? ‘Being cantankerous and acting as if I don’t want to be there even if I do in my heart. They might nominate me for being disengaged perhaps or not paying everyone an equal amount of attention. They may feel left out but I can’t help that.’

DYLAN

AGE: 39

PROFESSION: DJ

FROM: Coventry

TELL US AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOURSELF: ‘I appeared on a TV show called The Last Leg about amputees – two years before I lost my leg!’

NOKY

AGE: 26

PROFESSION: Banker

FROM: Derby

WHAT MADE YOU APPLY TO BECOME A BIG BROTHER HOUSEMATE? ‘I love challenges. I’ve had so many amazing times in my life, like going to Miss Universe as Miss Great Britain. I like to do something different and I think this is the next challenge I want to conquer. I want to show people what pageant girls are really like and disprove a lot of stereotypes around them. I also show what it’s like being a woman who’s worked in male- dominated fields. I want to show that women are capable of doing anything they want.’

PAUL

AGE: 23

PROFESSION: Security officer

FROM: Liverpool

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR? ‘Being the biggest wind up, eating all the food and being the loudest housemate.’

OLIVIA

AGE: 23

PROFESSION: Dancer

FROM: Glasgow

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR? ‘I think when people are in that hangry state, that’s when I’ll wind people up and grind their gears. I think they’ll nominate me for being full on, and for my brutal honesty and oversharing of opinions.’

HALLIE

AGE: 18

PROFESSION: Youth worker

FROM: London

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR? ‘Being lazy and having an opinion. I’m quite opinionated, I like speaking my mind and not many people like that. I’m quite real.’

YINRUN

 AGE: 25

PROFESSION: Customer support agent

FROM: Harrogate

WHAT PART OF THE EXPERIENCE ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO? ‘I’m most excited about being surrounded by so many people from different walks of life. I don’t think I will ever live in a house again with so many different kinds of people. I’m from China and I think it will help me be more immersed in British culture.’

CHANELLE

AGE: 29

PROFESSION: Dental therapist

FROM: Llanelli

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO BE NOMINATED FOR? ‘Probably just for being annoying. In Wales, we have this saying, “I’ll do it now in a minute.” So like, if I went to make food and I left a dish on the side, I have all good intentions of washing it but I’d be like, “I’ll do it now in a minute,” and it might be three hours later before I do it. So probably for silly stuff like that.’

MATTY

AGE: 24

PROFESSION: Doctor

FROM: Isle Of Man

HOW WOULD YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY DESCRIBE YOU? ‘They would say I’m quite like a lucky person or someone who really wants to experience life to its fullest and do everything that it has to offer. Someone who is kind and fun and doesn’t take life too seriously.’

HENRY

AGE: 25

PROFESSION: Food writer

FROM: Cotswolds

HOW WOULD YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY DESCRIBE YOU? ‘I think they would say I’m particularly sociable and very chatty. I mean, I’ll be honest, my parents would definitely say I’m a bit of a snob but I take it as a compliment. I think it means you’ve got high standards and good taste. They’d say I was quite a peculiar child.’

KERRY

AGE: 40

PROFESSION: NHS manager

FROM: Essex

WHAT MADE YOU APPLY TO BE A BIG BROTHER HOUSEMATE? ‘I love the programme. It is, for me, the ultimate reality TV show ever. I’ve got multiple sclerosis and so the reason why I never applied before is because I always saw those whacking great big stairs to get into the house. It just felt a little bit unachievable because for the first three years of my illness I was in a wheelchair. When I saw it was coming back and searching for real people from all walks of life, I thought, this is my year.’
