Pop diva Tina Arena has cancelled the Australia leg of her Love Saves World tour due to an unspecified illness.
Announcing the decision via social media on Thursday, the 55-year-old music veteran apologised to her fans telling them it was the first time ever she has had to postpone a concert tour.
Tina, who has already played concerts in Sydney and Perth, teased she would be back on stage soon, and told fans to hold on to their tickets for the remaining shows.
The star’s cancelled gigs included a Gold Coast concert scheduled for October 12, a Melbourne show for October 20 and the tour’s finale in Adelaide on October 21.
‘For the very first time, I have to postpone the rest of my Australian shows,’ she explained in her Instagram story.

‘Believe me when I say, it was a hard decision. But remember, health always comes first. Therefore, to ensure it won’t happen again… here we are.
‘Please hold on to your tickets, there will be more information soon.
‘I wish you all the very best, and my sincere apologies for any inconveniences.’
Tina included a black and white photo of herself rehearsing with her band in a studio in the post.
Fans and followers were quick to throw support behind the stricken singer, filling her message board with well-wishes.
‘Take care of you darling heart,’ wrote one friend.

Comedian Julia Morris messaged: ‘Such a hard decision… but you are right… without our health we have nuttin. Love you x.’
‘You should never apologize for something out of your control. Everyone understands. Health absolutely comes first. Sending lots of love,’ wrote another follower.
Meanwhile, the star still has international dates scheduled for her concert tour including in New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Paris and London.
It comes after Tina recently admitted the last three years of her career have been a struggle.
Tina, who previously made controversial comments about Daniel Andrews ‘ lengthy Covid lockdowns, opened up during an interview on WSFM’s Jonesy and Amanda in August.
‘Things haven’t been peachy pie,’ she said at the time.

During that interview with hosts Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Amanda Keller, Arena discussed the impact the years of Covid lockdowns had on her music.
She joined other Victorians who grew frustrated by the long and ineffective lockdowns.
While not publicly endorsing conspiracy theories, Arena drew attention to the the devastating impact stay-at-home orders were having on live entertainment and the arts.
