Radio host Kate Ritchie was stunned on Tuesday after her co-star Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli told her he was sent paparazzi photos of her training with cricket star Alyssa Healy.
Ritchie, 45, was chatting with her co-hosts on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie, when Wippa, 44, shocked her by revealing he was sent snaps of her training at a park.
‘I got a very interesting text message yesterday and I was shocked to see what I saw,’ he told her.
‘It’s incriminated one of you. I’m looking at both of you right now, so to speak. And I thought we were a pretty honest show. But what I’ve seen in these pictures is disgraceful,’ Wippa continued.
‘Now have a look at those pictures I’m putting on the screen. Have either of you had a paparazzi following you in the past few days? Have a look at this Kate. These are photos of you in the nets.’

Kate was taken aback that Wippa was sent pictures of her private cricket training session and told him she was practicing for the station’s upcoming backyard cricket event at Kirribilli House.
‘Everyone’s going to be watching. I started thinking people are going to see my skills and I don’t think I had picked up a cricket bat for at least five years,’ she began.
‘So I put the call in and they sent me Alyssa Healy for a bit of training. I didn’t expect to see these photos.’
Wippa then asked her if she successfully hit the ball when training and Kate confirmed she was getting better at the game.
She later posted a video of her training with Healy, 33, to Instagram, which captures Kate keeping up with the cricket star as she practises her batting and bowling.

Ritchie joined co-hosts Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli’s Nova FM breakfast radio show back in March.
And a recent radio ratings survey has revealed the radio station’s audience share has increased since the former actress joined the show.

According to the figures released in August, the trio jumped 0.6 of a percentage point to a 6.9 per cent share.
Ritchie moved from drive to breakfast with Fitzgerald and Wipfli on their Sydney breakfast show.
‘I am so excited to be joining Fitzy and Wippa in the very competitive breakfast slot. I can’t wait to wake up Sydneysiders beside two of the industry’s much-loved breakfast announcers,’ Ritchie said at the time.
