Truth behind Kim Kardashian’s friendship with Lauren Sanchez as they hit an Oscar bash with Jeff Bezos

Kim Kardashian has become close friends with Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez.

Often they attend the same events and sometimes they even vacation together in stunning locations.

On Saturday evening they were seen hanging out side-by-side with the Amazon mogul at Chanel’s 16th Annual Pre-Oscar Awards Dinner.

Kim and Lauren chit-chatted like they were old high school chums while at the tony location, The Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Now DailyMail.com can reveal the truth behind their high-profile friendship.

‘Kim loves Lauren because she has zero snobbery, she is a totally down-to-earth girl’s girl who never tries to overshadow Kim and is always quick with a compliment,’ a source tells DailyMail.com.

‘Kim likes that Lauren never tries to compete with her. Lauren does not want to be a reality TV star or actress or makeup mogul. She is fine with being Lauren Sanchez as she is.’

Another reason Kim appreciates Lauren is that she is a major networker.

‘It’s pretty cool that Lauren is always like, “What can I do for you? How can I help? Who do you want to meet?” She is like the Mayor of Networking. If she can help a friend out, she will do it,’ added the LA-based pal.

‘She is constantly finding her friends jobs, contacts, alliances, it’s savvy of her. 

‘And because Lauren is engaged to Jeff Bezos she has so very major contacts, she has a massive Rolodex, her phone contact list is off the charts. She can call just about anyone up.’

Another thing bonding Kim and Lauren: Kris Jenner.

‘Kris loves loves loves Lauren because they have a lot in common: they think big. They are super tight. Lauren passed a lot of ideas by Kris because she respects her. It’s a mutual admiration society.’

Kim and Lauren also have their height in common. Both are petite ladies: Kim is 5ft2in and Lauren is 5ft3in.

Kim has said in the past that her friendship with Sanchez is based on kindness.

‘Lauren and I are always sending DMs building each other up,’ said Kardashian to Vogue. ‘Every time there’s a look that we like, she’ll say, WOW, or, OMG you look amazing.’

And in October on Kim’s 44th birthday, Lauren gave the SKIMS founder a lot of love on social media.

The budding mogul took to her Insta Stories to post a photo of her with Kim as the caption read: ‘Happy birthday to the woman who lights up every room she walks into. Love you Kim Kardashian,’ wrote Lauren as she added a red heart emoji.

The ladies have been close for about two years and they have already vacationed together on Jeff’s yacht in Europe.

Kim was also by Lauren’s side when the former TV news reporter promoted her children’s book in September 2024 in Los Angeles while Kris and Khloe also showed up.

In September 2024, Kim helped the future Mrs Jeff Bezos celebrate the launch of her new book The Fly That Flew To Space.

Kim had on a black feathered bustier, and Lauren was sultry in a tight gray dress. 

Also seen at the event was Khloe, and Kim and Khloe’s mother Kris Jenner, Kathy Hilton, model Miranda Kerr and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer.

Sanchez sizzled in a black corset style top and long silk skirt that showed off her incredible figure.
