BondiBoost Founder Rejects $60M Offer for Sydney Harbor Mansion

Alexandra Jakob is trying to offload her harbourside mansion in Sydney for the second time in a year.

The 42-year-old BondiBoost founder has listed her amazing Point Piper pad with the hope of making more than $60million – after it hit the market in 2024 for $100m.

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home is located in exclusive Point Piper and boasts breathtaking city views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Coming to market without a price guide after failing to find any takers in September, 2024, Domain has reported that Jakob has already knocked back a buyer.

Jakob reportedly felt the $60million bid for the prestigious estate was too low. She is now chasing suitable offers ahead of a November 26 deadline.

Purchased for $40million, Alexandra snapped up the unique home in 2019.

She later purchased two neighbouring properties with her former husband Gabriel Jakob.

Plans to create a lavish luxury estate came to nothing after the pair made headlines when they separated in 2023, divorcing in 2024.

Situated just 6km from the CBD, Alexandra’s stylish home is only a stone’s throw from the water’s edge and boasts a private beach.

Highlights include a manicured garden centred around a harbourside pool, and a design that fully capitalises on its spectacular location.

Interiors feature floor-to-ceiling windows, with each of the three levels offering balcony views of the harbour.

There’s also a spa, steam room, wet bar and wine cellar.

Alexandra, who grew up in poverty and left school in Year 10, went on to found a chain of childcare centres and the hugely popular BondiBoost haircare brand.

Alexandra was married to Swedish-born entrepreneur, Gabriel Jakob.

They announced their separation in May 2023 and their acrimonious divorce in May 2024 has been followed by ongoing, extreme bitterness.

According to property deeds, the pair own adjoining harbourfront properties on Wolseley Road, Point Piper, with a combined estimated value of at least $160million.

Until recently, they were next-door neighbours.

Mr Jakob is something of an enigma, refusing to have his face shown in photographs when he was profiled by the Australian Financial Review last August.
