The actor took on the foxtrot with his professional partner Katya Jones, and scored an impressive 34 points, taking them to second place on the leaderboard.
And a VT before his performance, Lewis and Katya were seen meeting up with two of his best friends for a game of bowling and some words of encouragement.
But Strictly viewers couldn’t help but notice that one of the former Emmerdale star’s pals looked slightly familiar, before realising it was none other than Luke Friend.
Luke shot to fame when he competed on series 10 of The X Factor back in 2013, making it all the way to the final.
He even got to duet with pop star Ellie Goulding, before ultimately finishing in the third place to winner Sam Bailey.

However, the singer has undergone a remarkable transformation since appearing on the ITV show at just 17 years old.
On the X Factor, Luke was known for his trademark dreadlocks, which he usually styled with a headband.
But nowadays, he looks completely different from his shaggy-haired baby-faced self, having cut off his long locks and grown a moustache.
Now 30, he has switched up his look for an edgier rock star style, complete with tattoos and a nose ring, and is regularly seen puffing away on a cigarette.
